Almost =(

Well we were Puppy owners for approximately 15 hours! We adopted this adorable little guy (part Beagle, part Chiwawa, part Mini-Pinscher and part Shih Tsu) which we named Charlie on Friday night then Saturday morning sadly discovered that Jaron is allergic. We broken heartedly returned him and all his belonging then spent the day morning the loss playing the remember when game.

Zoo Firsts

Oh WOW I just have to say that having a Brother work at the zoo is the best thing ever! I have gone to the Hogle Zoo every year since I was a kid but this time had lots of firsts.

Then Dorian turned on the water for the crocks and the 11 footer came right over...

Then the usually hidden wolves were very visible and lively for the fist time that I've seen in years...

1st Anniversary

Established Today November 3rd of last year to be exact! One whole year under our belts and I must say though we both had to work hard it seems like we hardly worked at all. We are both still learning so much about each other every day but the good and love outweighs the bad by far so time has flown by. I am his first love, I have never loved anyone more and together our love with the Lords will help us make it home. I love you Jaron Bath and am grateful I found you for you are perfect for me!!!! XoxO

I lucked out and got the first gift, my Wedding Ring cleaned and it looks just like new...

He also gave me a Black Pearl Necklace to go along with my Engagement Ring and Earrings (MAN I have the best husband in the world!)...

Jaron got a Traditional Paper gift of a blank music manuscript book and Gift Certificate to his favorite restaraunt El Farols. If you haven't been there before you HAVE to go its is amazing!!!

We also had our most favorite and sentimental dish Surf & Turf Mmmm...

Then we ate two bites of the thawed first tier of our wedding cake, it was kinda soggy and we cut it with the same knife thing we used on our wedding day...

Jaron was sweet enough to reenact feeding each other cake...

But then we ate the other cake I made suspecting that the first would not taste very good...

What a wonderful day we had of celebrating each other and looking forward to many years to come!!!

We also went and saw Interception and defiantly recommend it. Off to the zoo tomorrow.

Flash Back

Remember this place... Utah Museum of Natural History I haven't been there since I was a litle kid so yesterday we went as big kids! It was so interesting to review the things you were taught as a child and use your big kid perspective to look at them with a new light. If you all haven't been in years I defiantly recommend you take a field trip on over, oh and we got in for free because the first Monday of the month it is free admission and open for longer hours.

Jaron was so sweet and creative coming up with a fun game we could play. You go to the DI, apx $5 to spend on an item(s) that say something about the other person...

 I got Jaron a large silver plastic tub/fork explaining that his surface appearance is an intriguing mystery and one just wants to know what is inside however his outer shell also displays cold, hard and prickly (mainly due to the sarcasm). Once on the inside you discover that he is just a big teddy bear though!!!

Jaron got me porcelain vases representing my fragile emotional state at the moment, the fact that I love square everything yet somehow always end up with circle and my creative inner beauty.<3

Just another great day spent with the love of my life and can hardly wait for today's adventure ; )
