The hunt is on...

Last night was great, Jon and I have a party we are going to today and so I thought it might be funny to find really hideous christmas sweaters and wear them to the party like we were serious... Well we went to THREE different frugal shoppers stores (aka goodwill, savers and DI) and no luck!!! What the heck!!! But along the way we found some other great stuff. Jon and I are pretty thrifty people, so we like to bargin hunt, plus it's fun. Well as I was looking for an ugly sweater I found this instead!! From Express and it's soo cute, plus it was under 5 bucks, you can't beat that...





Then on to the next store..... I think Jon got a cool shirt there.

Last was DI. Normally I put up a stink and don't even look for girls clothes, but oh not this time... I found these three skirts, an abercrombie and fitch, gap, and american eagle.

Ode to Mexico

I do not like driving in Mexico, I've determined. It's not that it's that different than the states, but it's the idea that some of the driving rules and such things are different that make me become a paranoid mess. Last weekend we had the really fun chance to go out to Rocky Point for work and to stay in a fun swanky hotel. Jon and I, both of whom have never been to Mexico, unless you count Tijuana, which no one does, had a great time just getting out of town and relaxing. I know I really really needed it. Well I'm waiting on some much better photos to come back from a few of our traveling companions, but here are a few we snapped one of the mornings before lounding in the pool...

MY WEDDING FILM Job openings

Hey everyone!
Just letting you know
about some fun job opening's we've got for
videographers. there's no experience needed,
we will train you.

We are looking for women (although guys work too, we are a crew of mostly women) who would like to
work around 2 weekends a month (during our busy season which
in the Spring is March-June). , shooting video
at swanky upscale weddings!

The time commitment is usually from around noon-10pm
on Saturdays, although each wedding varies and on occasion we do
have Friday weddings.

We also have two meetings a month to train and review for upcoming
events, those are held on the first Tuesday and the third
Thursday of every month and run from 6-8pm.

So if you/or someone you know is looking to make some extra cash and have a smashing
time at weddings with our fun crew let me know asap!

Meet Hyrum

Hyrum, my nephew, was out of control a few Sundays ago and the only thing that would calm him down was watching videos on my phone. Here's what happened when I took the phone away and started filming him instead...

Okay, so we don't shop often. Thankfully shopping is not one of my vice's, it makes our marriage much easier! Well, this past Monday or Tuesday we decided to make a quick trip to the store to pick up a few things, among them some new pants (slacks) for Jon. So this trip was mostly for him. Well as we were searching around he found this awful Mr. Rogers Cardigan, and I just had to have a photo on my camera phone....

MEXICO

Jon and I are taking our first real trip south of the boarder this week! To Mexico for an engagement party!!! It's gonna be rocking! and we are staying in a sweet hotel, so we'll be sure to post lots of jealousy promoting photos...
