Hoping to Adopt
We want to remind all of you, our family and friends, and those we may have never met before that we are hoping to adopt. Adoption has been such a blessing in our life. We love everything about it and especially the blessings that have come from it. Please keep our family in your prayers and please spread the word that we are hoping to adopt. Our case worker has told us that getting the word out is the best thing to do. We have set up this blog so birth families can get to know us better through the tabs along the top and the Just for Birth Parents section on the right. We are excited to hopefully welcome another member in our family. Thank you for your support and love to our family.

Life Lately
We have been having lots of fun lately. Here is what we have been up to.
***THE PARK
I have a feeling we are going to spending a lot of time here this summer!
STATIC
She likes her arms to be tucked in when she swings...silly girl
***MATCHING JAMMIES WITH HER BABY
My mom got Izzy and her baby these matching night gowns. Cute!!!!
Here she is with her baby when she was 2 months old (4 pounds)
Now here she is almost 20 months old (20 pounds 7 ounces)
****PLAYING OUTSIDE
They were fighting over who got to ride in the car...it was a tight squeeze, but the settled it!
Izzy got stuck on the slide in this position and just stared at us with this look like..."Is someone going to help me out here?"

The Ballroom Concert
Now that the dancesport competition is over we are in preparations for the Ballroom Dance Concert. It's still a busy time, but we love being involved. The concert is next weekend at the Marriott Center. Here is a commercial for it.

The BIG 3-0!!!
Karson is 30! We had a really fun day. Here is what we did to celebrate.
Part 1: Karson, Izzy, and I had a yummy breakfast at Magelby's and then watched movies at home.
Part 2: Mini Golf, Arcades, and Play Land
It was black light mini golf...Izzy loved it! My hair was WHITE!
Part 3: SURPRISE!!!!!!
Yep....I actually pulled off a surprise party. I thought surely he would figure it out but he didn't and was totally surprised. While we were mini golfing, everyone met at our house ready to party. I delegated all of the food and decor and it all came together. Thanks to our awesome friends and family.
...such a poser....
blowing out all 30 candles
with Alana and Jenny
with Mayo
Karson sister Janae made this amazing quilt for him since he LOVES ties!
If you don't believe me that he loves ties.....check out the closet!
There is one rack that didn't fit in the picture...Yep! he loves them.
Izzy and her friend Alana
with Dave and Greg
With Izzy, Greg and his kids
with Kylie....she helped me pull the surprise off!
A cousins pyramid with a nervous Izzy
Karson with some of his nieces and nephews
Part 4: The annual Fudruckers tradition
Karson's b-day is the 22 and one of his best friends Dave is the 24, so on the 23rd of every March they have the Fudruckers tradition. They have been doing it for almost 10 years.
The tradition is that Karson and Dave both eat a pounder burger!
Last year the burger was bigger than Izzy...ha ha and apparently so was her bow!
Some of the group....I had to leave early for a meeting
Crazy Hair Day
Izzy is always so good when I do her hair. This particular day she had double braids. I think the "after" do might even be cuter than the original!
Squeezing in some last minute TALKING and playing before bed....PUSH PLAY
As you can see, she when she plays she is in her own little world. She pulls out every toy she owns and has a grand old time!
