A Good Place to read a Book:)

When my youngest came in earlier and told me there was mushrooms growing in the yard.... I had to check them out. And after realizing they were the perfect size for a photo op... I grabbed my camera and took a few shots:)

Can you guess what she's reading??

But of Course! Alice's Adventures in Wonderland:) LOL
Yes! These kinda of things make me happy:)

Sorry I haven't been around.... I've had a headache/migraine that has had a storm cloud hanging over my head for the last week. Yesterday was the first day I didn't have one, and it felt good to feel good. I did get some white benches built and painted.... And then I got sidetracked. We will just say I ordered a new 'home' for one of my critters. I got it on Ebay for a steal... and sure wish the mail man would hurry his butt up and bring it! But now It's all I can think about! I want to leave it a surprise... But I'll give you a hint. I've been making copper kettles and jars for days now. You know me, when I get that clay in my hand, I can't just make one. So I have an army of them now... In the process of being painted and aged. Once I get a set done, I will have pics:) But until then.... I'm watching the mailbox.

Until Next Time...

And then there were mushrooms.....

I've been making mushrooms to go with my little gnomes, and I think I may be onto something here, lol. In other words, I Like em!!

I just need to figure out how to make them smaller...

Look good enough to eat, Right??

I've also been playing around with some other ideas...... I still want to perfect this idea! Those white things got to be smaller and longer?!

And I just love the stalks on these....

I did do some simple ones that still need their spots...... I'll use paint for that!

But for now I gotta find some mirrors, the ones I have are too small!

So, Until Next Time:)

The Mushroom bowls

After I made the rose bowl, I dug a little deeper into my trash box to see what else I had. And I found my purple mushroom cane!! I've always loved this cane, but have never really done anything productive with it. If you look close you will see that each bowl has one mushroom hiding in it....pretty neat, huh. The 2 circles things at the bottom are slices that I took from the cane, and then cooked as is, so I had a record of what I did. Ok, we're not going to discuss the fact, that Otis is not even suppose to be up here...but how in the world is this comfortable?? Well, at least he hasn't pushed the frog, over the edge, to it's death yet.
