Easter weekend was low-key and delicious. We spent most of our time watching General Conference and eating all of Brooklyn's yummy baked creations... in addition to the kids' Easter basket candy. Our bathroom scale isn't amused!
The kids had fun dyeing Easter eggs on Saturday and then hunting for them Sunday morning. The Easter Bunny was extra good this year - hiding the 48 colored eggs on all three floors. It took a while to find them all and I think there's still one more hidden somewhere around here. I guess our movers will find it in June!
Easter baskets were fulled with candy, swim suits, clothes, books, toys and money. We had Brooklyn's delicious homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast along with my favorite tatertot and egg casserole. Dinner was French Dips with potatoes and asparagus and finished off with Brooklyn's Lemon Poppyseed cupcakes with blackberry buttercream frosting (which Brooklyn didn't love so quickly made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs.) It's no wonder we all gained a few pounds this weekend!
