It's Index Card a Day time again.

I'm doing the Index Card a Day thing again this year.

If you don't know what that is check it out at Daisy Yellow.

 It's not too let to join in.

 It began June 1 and goes 61 days.  

I'm sharing daily (or trying) on Instagram #dyicad2017.  I'm @lindajopaperart.

For your pictures on Instagram you need to leave background showing as

Instagram will crop it to a square.

I haven't kept up with ICAD this year as I have in the past.

But I do still love it!

Thought I'd show you a couple of cards just

so you will know I'm still here.

I uploaded these and then realized I should maybe blur my last name out.

There might be someone out there that doesn't know it yet.

I'm doing the Daisy Yellow Index Card A Day (ICAD) Challenge again this year.

This is my third year to do it.  When I look back at the cards I've made over the last two years, it's some of the best stuff I've made! I really love it! You should give it a try. In fact I hoard them....

I don't want to send them out into the world. (this is a problem I apparently have with a good bit of the art I make..... but that's another blog post....... oh, wait.... I'm shutting this down soon.... right?)

Anyway, above are the cards I've made this year.

(It started June 1, but you can start at any time.)

As you may can tell... I can copy really well. ha!

Did you do this?  I did it last summer as well.  It's a June and July thing.... I am not finished... I got behind... so I'll be finishing in August.

They really are sooooooooooo fun and such good therapy during the summer.... daily art on flimsy 3 x 5 cards! Love it!

It's ICAD time!

Last year I participated in Index Card a Day and loved it!

So this year I joined in again.

You don't really have to do anything to join. 

I can't seem to rotate the one above on the iPad and I'm too lazy to go get the laptop. 

          

       I do tend to make my index cards 

       Influenced by the online classes I'm

                               taking!

I don't use the prompts very often. But I did like the one staple collage prompt! Do you see it above (the elephant)!

          As you can see I'm current!

I am behind once again after a weekend spent here at my house with about 11 close relatives visiting.

It's Still June!

 

 I just can't do this blogging thing lately.....

 

 

 .... and doing the Index Card a Day thing is hard, too....

 

 

.... and I really can't take pictures of all my cards.......

 

But here are a few......... and, yes, I've missed two days of cards now and

I'm leaving town in the morning............ not looking good.....

 

But I wouldn't do the ICAD if I felt like I HAVE to document it...

so therefore I will continue....
