Addie is such a sweet, polite little girl. She almost always says please and thank you and she loves to share and help. When she runs into me she says, "Excuse me, I'm sorry". What two year old says that? She has a teasing streak in her as well. She is always teasing us and saying things to make us laugh. Lately she asks questions about everything, and she is almost always singing or making up new songs. We are so happy to have this cute girl in our family. Happy 2nd Birthday Addie!

She's TWO!
I can't believe that my baby is two already! I think I need to stop calling her "my baby" because she is seriously a little girl. I just can't believe how fast time goes by. Addie is such a joy. We had a great day celebrating her...basically she got spoiled big time. What can I say, she is our little princess. The cake is Cinderella. It is her latest fad.

Happy Birthday Rich!
It is my brother Richard's birthday today; he is 19 and just got his mission call the other day to Puerto Rico. Addie just wanted to sing him a song. (scroll to the bottom and pause the music so you can hear)

Where do I start?
I have been procrastinating updating this thing because frankly, I don't know how I can fit everything we have done in the last few months in one post. I have to admit another reason I haven't posted is because, I am pretty sure it is going to make me sad to think all the celebrating and holiday fun is officially over...commemorated by a blog post...for some reason that adds finality to things.

Addie taking a break from opening all her presents to cuddle with her new blankie from uncle Jeffrey.
My little brothers (who aren't so little anymore, but will always be affectionately called such) drove all the way down to visit the week after Christmas. We had a great time with them here, and I think they really enjoyed the warm weather (it was 70's all week...anyone else want to visit? You know you are sick of the snow/cold). We played soccer, rang in the New Year, played games, made a movie, and a few even swam. Addie loves her uncles!
Hooray to Jon and AJ for setting up the swing...and thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for getting it for her.
So Jon went back to school today, and I am going through some major withdrawals! Everything is so much more pleasant and easy when he is around. He is such a good dad...he is amazing at entertaining our little gal. I am going crazy today, because I can't remember what we used to do all day before the break. Plus I am feeling lonely without an adult to talk to in the daytime. Anyone want to hang out?
Ok quick synopsis of our holidays. Addie and I went to Utah for 10 days to spend time with my family while Jon stayed to study and take finals. Basic run down...we had a lot of fun and Jon didn't really. The face in the picture below is pretty much what Addie thought of the snow. She thought it was cool because we don't have it in Arizona, but she hated when it blew in her face or made her cold...so she was done with it after a few minutes just like her mommy.
The snow, despite it making me angry while driving, was pretty and it made it feel like Christmas to me so I am glad it snowed while we were there. I was lucky to get to see most of my beautiful sisters(we missed you Amy!)
Christmas in Arizona with the Linfords was lot of fun. Here we are at the lights at the Mesa Temple.
The highlight of Christmas Eve (for Addie) was the fake Santa Jeffrey somehow arranged for. It sang and danced, and the kids loved it! Fake Santa didn't scare Addie...like a real one would have I am sure...she even gave him a hug.
Christmas pjs with our crazy hats that Aunt Mary Anne made.
