i don't ask for this

I promise I do nothing at all on fb to invite this kind of attention - friend requests from people with ridiculously made up names, and I mean ridiculously, I mean, obviously overtly ridiculous. The people usually identify as male, as well, which I'm going to say superficially speaking at least is somewhat counteracted by their pictures. But it's the insane names that intrigue me the most! Anyway, I just delete them as soon as they come up - no I don't, obviously, I screenshot them first because otherwise no-one would believe me. I am sure there's a rationale for it, though - like, they're memorable or just hilarious or something so when men actually connect to this kind of thing and are later challenged for linking up  with some kind of porn or e-sex site we can say 'oh that? I actually thought it was my mate Larry Scrymgeour, he's hilarious'. No, I'm lost, I have no idea what the thinking is behind this stuff, but I assume it works (or it works one time out of a thousand, and that's enough).

These stopped appearing for a few months, I only noticed when they started again yesterday. It feels like trolling tbh. But I suppose at least the name 'Grimmera Kammerer' gave me a momentary chuckle. Incidentally Kammerer is apparently a real surname, but there seems to be no real person in the world with the first name Grimmera, which is a shame.

The long-suffering expression on Murray-Prioru's face is depressing.

money shot

Hey, I don't want this to become either the blog of Angry of Broadmeadows or the blog of man who asks the inappropriate questions all the time however uncomfortable they make everyone else feel. I don't even think these images (from an animated online ad for ANZ) are intended to be pornographic, despite the sensational title I used for this post, which I will probably come to regret (not because anything bad will happen, just because I have never been any good at titles. Or endings. Great at the inbetween though you'll surely agree).

I just wonder why the pelvis of this cartoon troll girl is being thrust so undeniably and repeatedly at the viewer, and what the advertisers' psychological tactic is here. Are we supposed to think 'if I don't keep my financial affairs in order, my children will end up in some parents' worst nightmare of fear and degradation, including becoming in some way sexually exploited'? Or are we supposed to think, 'my daughter's procreative abilities are the future of my genetic line and must be kept comfortable until successful reproduction'? You tell me, I'm no good at answers, only at asking questions.
