Work of Art card set

I got this beautiful stamp set at the new catalog launch party for demonstrators. What fun that was! It's so fun to see what people have made with it so far. It's superfun to get the stamps ahead of time to play with. Check out all of the fabulous projects on my 2014-2015 Annual Catalog Sneak Peek Pinterest board. These cards are so simple, it's crazy!  It looks like a work of art that you have made no matter what you do! I used our fab whisper white notecards which are precut and pre-scored. Simple, simple is the key to success!

Stampin' Up supplies used:
stamp sets: Work Of Art
paper: whisper white notecards and envelopes
ink: bermuda bay, crushed curry and tangerine tango classic stampin' pads, memento black stampin pad
adhesive: stampin' dimensionals

Directions:
Stamp cards as shown above.
Tip on chevron ombre card:
Ink the stamp once and don't reink as you stamp on the way down. If there iss too much space between the chevron stamps, used the bermuda bay marker to draw in stitching. Trim the chevron card front so that the chevron goes all the way to the edges then mount with stampin dimensionals on another whisper white notecard.

Simple Saturday: 2014-2015 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog Sneak Peek - What's Your Type? stamp set

Simple Saturday

2014-2015 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog Sneak Peek - What's Your Type? stamp set

I was lucky enough to attend the Stampin' Up 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue premiere on Monday in Tulsa, Oklahoma which was simulcast to 7800 Stampin' Up demonstrators in the US. What fun we had! To add to the fun, I won this stamp set in a drawing.  I hope you love these as much as I do. The possibilities of this set are endless.! Also, I LOVE these notecards. They are already cut and scored - leaving you more time to stamp and create. Ink and paper are the only supplies that I used. These are perfect for the beginning stamper or someone who needs a lot of cards in a hurry.  AND they are adorable!!!

Here is a picture of the photopolymer set called "What' Your Type?". There are 23 stamps in it for $25.95. I think that's a fabulous price for 23 stamps! This will be available for the public to order on June 2nd. Start your wish list now!

Speaking of June 2nd, mark your calendars for my live catalog launch party which will be taking place on my blog, Facebook and Instagram all day, Monday, June 2nd. Inspirations from the goodies I have preordered and prizes will be revealed. Also, be watching my blog for sporadic sneak peeks until then.

Stampin' Up supplies used:
stamp set: What's Your Type?
ink: bermuda bay, crushed curry, tangerine tango and basic black classic ink pads. basic black marker
whisper white notecards and envelopes

Instructions: Gosh, really? Fold the notecards. Stamp as shown. There's really not more to say! The only tricky thing I can say is on the "H", I did color the striped piece with a basic black marker so that the "H" would not be so wide. Here's a picture to show you what I mean (p.s. also put it on the block before you color it! trust me!):

Simple Saturday: Clean and Simple DIY Simply Celebrate Add on Kit cards

Simple Saturday: Clean and Simple DIY Simply Celebrate Add on Kit cards

I am  fan of anything simple.  I had a Stampin' Up Simply Celebrate Banner class using the celebration basics banner kit the other day and these paper goodies were leftover from the simply created banner add on kit (the Bermuda bay/crushed curry kit). I also had the Simply Celebrate stamp set close by. So enter my need-  My fabulous upline and friend Becky Liggin had a birthday coming and I needed cards QUICK. You see, my darling 9 year old has a science fair project due and I was hosting a party at my house the next night.. you get my drift. No time for paper treasure chests or anything fancy. I needed something quick and simple, yet fabulous.  Clean and simple is the key.  These self adhesive die cut pieces are fabulous and this color scheme is darling (Stampin' Up knows what looks good!)

Here's the kits and what they come with...
Start with the celebration basics kit (click to see full post on making a birthday banner or St. Patrick's Day Banner):

then add whatever color scheme you like (or both, like I did!)

CRUSHED CURRY/BERMUDA BAY

CALYPSO CORAL/CRISP CANTALOUPE

Now, you can use the extras to make these fabulous party supplies! See full blog post about that here:

HOWEVER, I wanted to use the little pieces to make my favorite thing, CARDS!!!

So here they are!

So Simple!!!

Stampin' Up supplies used:
stamps: Simply Celebrate stamp set
paper: whisper white 8 1/2 x 11 card stock, crushed curry, bermuda bay and basic grey card stock
ink: basic grey, crushed curry, bermuda bay
kits: bermuda bay celebration basics add on kit

Directions: Cut whisper white into notecards 10 x 7" and fold making 3 1/2 x 5" card. Cut narrow strips of the colored card stock at 5" strips. Adhere to card with snail adhesive.  Stamp self adhesive die (sticker) with stamp. Adhere to the card (it's self adhesive!).  That's it!

Clean and simple notecards using "Feel Goods" "Simply Hello" stamp sets and Springtime Hello Simply Created Garland Kit

This fabulous set of cards was inspired by one of my favorite Stampin' Up demos Julie Davison. I She makes clean and simple an art form. Simple doesn't have to mean ugly and here, simple is just stunning.  I made tons of cards in nothing flat using Stampin' Up's Springtime Hello Simply Created Garland Kit (It's self adhesive!) and a few rhinestones and the "Feel Goods" and "Simply Celebrate" stamp sets. This is great when you need ALOT of cards and FAST.

The Simply Created Garland Kit is a steal at $8.95. Then get a pack of whisper white paper and coordinating ink pad (Stampin' Up makes that so easy) and you are ready to go! You can even buy the whisper white paper already cut and scored with matching envelopes! WOW. Now that's fast.

Springtime Hello Simply Created Garland Kit $8.95

Simply Celebrate Stamp Set (clear also available in wood)  $12.95

Feel Goods Stamp Set (clear, also available in wood)  $18.95

Whisper white notecards and envelopes 20 each  $5:95

Here's some other cards I made from the kit:
