Feeling Sentimental about Mother's Day. I feel very fortunate to have my girls. This pic of Luc and I is so special to me. She is so good and trys so hard especially as she gets older. I love that there is a hint of her trying to milk my affections. I hope the day doesn't come when I'm obsolete. I'll take it, take it all, the good, the bad and the drama....
Stella just turned 5 April 1st. She hasn't had her party yet, but on her B-day she got a new skateboard from her Dad. Also, we went up to a lake by our new place and hung out. It was a beautiful day. She hasn't stopped talking about the lake since. Everyday she wants to go back.
For the Hopi Art Walk each class at Lucia's school did a piece based off of a masterpiece their class had learned about. Lucia's was based on a work by Pablo Picasso. It was scary cool! She did an excellent job!
Lucia has started Spring softball. Today was her first game. Her number is 99 (her favorite) and her nick name on her jersey is "Luc," short for Lucia, and short for Lucky, so Lucky Luc. Despite being a little nervous, she got someone out on first base and had a blast. We had a blast watching.
Notice the people meditating behind the girls. They were laughing, yelling, splashing while these people were meditating behind us. And one of them had a sign that said, "Sit, Be Quiet, Have Peace." I thought these guys must not have kids. Julia was going crazy.
