Holy Cow you really are a poodle!!!

Okay before you scroll down and see the picture on my dog you have to understand that for the last two weeks I thought the vet was wrong when they told me I had a poodle. From ever picture I have ever seen of a poodle I thought that they were just so skinny and not the cutest dog around. But then I looked at my new dog and thought, "How totally cute!!!" Well today we took her in to get a well needed haircut. Of course we have no idea what to ask for but just a nice even all over cut so she looks like a puppy. When Brian brought her home I really thought that he got the wrong dog. But as a stylist I know that it is only hair and it will grow. We all have to have one bad haircut and this is going to be her ONLY ONE!!!! So here is the before and after of my poodle. Yes in fact there is no denying it, she is a poodle now!!!!

Christmas day at the Bergstrom's

The girls had a great time opening everyone's presents and jingling all around the house. It was been a fun day that I know we will never forget. But there are a few little highlights I want to share. Isa finally got her very own baby dall to play with and is so excited. Layla of course got more princess stuff including but not limited to a full on wedding onsomble. She has been doing around the house calling herself the princess bride and telling us she needs to get married to a prince. For right now she is happy to know that her prince is her daddy. (her words not ours!)

And last but not least Sophie our little angel loves to play in the snow. With eight inches outside our door she is lost up to her chin in snow. So to get around she hops in the snow. We all got into our snow appearel and went out to play with our new sled Uncle Jared got the girls. Even sophie came out to play. I am happy to say that after 45 minutes of hopping we wore the little thing out and she fell alseep curled up in Brian's sweatshirt.

Christmas Day!!!

Christmas Eve at Grandma Bergstrom's House

Of course on the one day that we are having family come over to our house there is predicted a snow storm. So we packed up our turkey dinner and headed over to Kathy's house. It was a beautiful snowy day out in the country and totally made the best Christmas Eve Dinner ever. After opening presents with Grandma and Uncle Keith we attempted to head home. It took 15 minutes to get out the the 8 inches of snow piled up in the driveway. But luckily someone had been watching us attempt to get out and came over with a snow plow to help. It really was the best Christmas Eve.

More pictures of sophie!

So this dog is perfect! She only barks when someone comes to the door or she hears someone outside the house really late. She also is totally potty trained and absolutely loves the girls. I couldn't have asked for a better first family pet!!!

Best Friends and totally cute!!

Trip to see Santa

We went to see santa at BYU-Idaho last week which luckily went really well. The girls were a little scared to sit on his lap but were okay if I stayed close. And this kind of visit is the best because we got to take our own pictures instead of pay 40 dollars for 2 pictures which they probably would have been crying in.

Playing in the snow!!!

We had our first of many snow falls for this christmas season. So 150 dollars later we are fully outfitted for the winter with snowpants, boots, coats, gloves, and hats for 4. The girls were so cute and absolutely love to play outside.

Sophie

This is our newest family member Sophie the miniture poodle. We picked her up from the shelter on monday and brought her home. She is my 4 year wedding anniversary/christmas present and I love her. She doesn't make a noise and I mean nothing but a wimper last night when we put her to bed. I am not sure if she even knows how to bark. And although they told us she wasn't toilet trained she totally is and that is awesome! Anyways we are celebrating four years today. It has been four years of happiness, joy, stress, kids, and more stress but we are definately stronger now than when we started so nothing beats that! So I just want to leave a note to tell everyone that I love Brian so very much for all he does for me and the girls. He is a great father and an even better husband.

Pictures from thanksgiving!

The drive was long like 18 hours long but the girls did really well and by the end they were buddies holding hands! I don't think that we will be driving that far again anytime soon but I am really glad we went and suprised everyone, well worth the trip!

Everyone was so excited to finally make it to Grandma and Grandpa's!!!

We were really excited to go back to this great hamburger place in Leawood. And it was nice that the night we went they had a balloon guy who mad amazing things for everyone!

The girls had so much fun playing with their cousins. Layla just followed everyone around thinking everything they did was just so cool. Isa enjoyed just hanging around trying on everyones shoes. She has a new obsession with them, don't ask me why! And we all enjoyed a great meal that had more food then you could ever imagine!
