So with Spring/Summer comes the boys birthdays. I have always taken pictures of the boys on their birthdays. I started it with Duncan and of course Clayton gets his done now too.
This year the last few weeks have been crazy busy with trips and such and so I am a little late on the birthday pictures for Clayton, still early for Duncan's, but not by much:)

They are growing so fast and are the highlight of our life.
We are so blessed to have two adorable, healthy little boys. Enjoy the pics!

The numbers on the jerseys are their birthdays

Hope you enjoyed!

Another week and lots of fun activities again. June is crazy with several birthdays, anniversary's, and father's day. This week we got some of those celebrations under way:)

Clayton on his trike at Grandma's birthday party

There is always something at Grandma's house

Everyone loves to help Grandma blow out her candles

All the Grandsons...

Then on to Father's Day!!
We have THEE BEST DAD at our house...

The fam...

And I still like him a little bit:)
Duncan wanted to take our picture, he did an excellent job didn't he!

Richard's family had dinner at our house. It finally stopped raining enough that
the kids were able to go outside and play

And they fed Pete. For our kids it is not a big deal but Duncan was so excited for everyone else to try it. Of course you have to let Pete suck on your fingers, my boys think it is hilarious-
the other cousins weren't quite so sure, but they eventually came around.

Brayden, Duncan and Sean
Duncan and Sean were showing off their "yucky hands" but Brayden kept plenty of distance from Pete and the boy's hands and by no means was his hand getting anywhere close to Pete's mouth:)

Grandpa Pay and all the Grandkids

Richard's whole family.
His sister's family was in town from Texas so the whole family was together which doesn't happen often.
The dogs thought they needed to be in the picture too:)

The kids all had fun playing together

Then on to Grandpa Phillips' house for father's day with him.  We have quite the herd of boys don't we!

And finally, the day was over. They were all tired and happy for bed.

Hopefully you all had a great week at your house and enjoyed a great Father's Day, I know we did.

What have we been doing?

Bring on SUMMER!! We are staying busy and having lots of fun so far. Hope you are ready for picture overload:) But we are caught up for now- Enjoy the pics.

Baseball- we love coach pitch baseball...

he plays a wicked 2nd base:)

Little brother enjoys the dug out

and just being outside period

I think they are related, what do you think?

Richard even talked Grandpa Phillips into coaching 3rd base. My dad coached my softball team growing up and taught me the game. He still loves to coach and it was kind of cute to watch. Once a coach, always a coach I guess and he has coached a lot of teams, high school and city league both.

"you are going to take off for home when they hit the ball..."

Our "Ace" on the mound!! He was so nervous when the season started that the kids wouldn't be able to hit his pitches. Needless to say, every game, every little guy gets a great hit.

More ball...

Clayton got this tractor for his birthday, with a little help from big brother, he is a pro driver

And loves it

This one is getting too big...

Memorial Day week end was less than desirable to be outside in but Monday it warmed up just enough to BBQ with our good friends, Sam and Jen

My boys love to go to Sam and Jen's house. The fire pit is fun too.

The whole bunch

And... of course marshmallows! This is oneof those GIANT marshmallows. I'd never bought them and so we decided we'd try them out. Needless to say, our smore's were VERY messy

Duncan and Sam

Duncan loved the giant marshmallows and was a mess when he finished but he washes :)

And then back to baseball!!

"good game!!"

Richard's parents are adding a garage on to their house so Richard helped his dad rip out the old cement.

Duncan was busy helping to destroy the stairs and Richard is just like a kid in a sandbox.... with a little bigger toy:)

Then the first part of June I was asked to play at the Days of the Old West celebration in Spanish Fork.

These folks are the Fairbanks family. I'm the "odd" one out,not being family but they are nice
people and fun to play with.

I didn't know Richard had taken any pictures, but he didn't do too bad!

It was nice and warm during the day

And there were lots of fun things to do and see. These little piglets were one of them! Swifty Swine racing was one of our favorite things to watch. It seriously was funny and they are so tiny and cute, if a pig can be cute:)

The saloon girls- I performed with Lindsey earlier.  After this, we went to the Wild West show that night, which was specialty western acts. Duncan played "Buffalo Bill" for the next two days. Grandma and Grandpa Phillips came with us and we had a fun day/night!

This is one of our three baby kittens and our duck, we call Lucky Duck. You can see the top of his head looks a little rough, well we have racoons at our place and they nearly got him, his buddy (we used to have 2 ducks instead of 1) wasn't as fortunate. Anyway, Lucky hangs out in the garage with the kittens and it is hilarious to watch.

No wonder everyone loves "down filled" pillows- this kitten is no dummy:) But they are really cute together.

This is Richard's new project.... ACE. He is Richard's horse that he is breaking.

Clayton loves him and Ace is so good with him. Ace lowers his head every time so that
Clayton can reach his head to pet him.

The Team picture- Clayton decided that he was going to be in the picture too:)

And more games!

I know it sounds funny, but it is hard to explain the feeling Richard and I get when we watch this little guy run and play and do all the things he does. Even though he will turn 7 soon, it doesn't seem like it was that long ago that he laid in a hospital bed day after day, growing and fighting for his existence. It is humbling for us and I often wonder if we will always feel this way. We are just glad that he is happy and healthy today- thanks heavens for modern medicine and someone upstairs for sure.

My farm boys!

They love to go to the farm with Grandpa

And do whatever grandpa is doing. This night they had changed sprinkler pipe

This is the first time Richard got on Ace

And oh yes... the duck does ride along in the trailer. It is SO cute

I love it when he picks his own attire:) That hat is classic! It reminds me of movie, The Christmas Story!

Duncan had a dentist appt. and was more than happy to let little brother in the chair with him

This was the first time that they walked around the pen. A little tense at first because you don't know what they will do, but this horse is so stinkin' calm!

This was the next night. Before he got off, Jim was no longer leading the horse.  It went pretty well!

And here are my two little cowboys on the pony Prince. They love Prince

Hope you enjoyed the novel of pictures:) and hopefully your summer has started off just as fun, busy and warm as ours!!
