A Summer Wish.

Hello there my lovely blogger friends!

I have a card to share with you all today. I absolutely ADORE this card. This gorgeous little fairy is from Lili of the Valley, as if you didn't already know. This stamp is called 'Time Flies'. Boy, it sure does! I painted her with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks. and for the flower I used my white acrylic paint and speckled it everywhere. It really looks like she's blowing the flower and making a wish. I'm so pleased with the outcome of this card!

 

The papers are Pion Designs and most of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, there are a few from Live, Love Crafts. The banner die is from Whiff of Joy, and the die that the image is cut out on is from Little Darlings, Oh, and the butterfly doily dies are from Magnolia. The little wooden pieces are from Studio Calico.

Class in Chino Hills, Ca - This n That Scrapbooking!





 

This Wednesday July 2nd I will be teaching this class at This n That in Chino Hills, Ca. Although I forgot to photograph it inside there's a mini tag album. This is such an adorable project and would make an excellent gift or keepsake box for someone or yourself! This image is by Saturated Canary, Windy Day. The papers are from Prima and flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The book is by Graphic 45.

I miss my Maggies!



Hello all my crafty peeps

 

I have a card to share, using this adorable Tilda from the new Animal Collection. I sure do miss these stamps. I was going to make this card at one of my Copic classes.. but.. I got a little carried away with the coloring. Notice the lake I created in the background, clouds and all that grass.. not to mention the no line technique. This would have been a good 3 1/2 - 4 hour class! Sooo.. it just became a 'just because' card. I would have added more to it if I would have known it wasn't going to be for a class. Oh well!

 

The papers and burlap ribbon are from Prima and the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

About a week ago I was offered a permanent morning position where I work, at Denny's. I'm so beyond the moon thrilled! No more late nights YAHOOOOO!!

 

The Store, This n' That in Chino Hills, Ca. is finally carrying Magnolia stamps and I've gotten quite a few requests for classes using them. So this is my class for next week's Magnolia Copic Class.

Stitching Challenge at WOC!

Hi there everyone.

 

Boy, what a busy weekend! I had to work of course and I had an Origami Owl Party.. which was so much fun! Today my kids are off of school --so it's a "Jammie/Crafting Day!"

WAHOOO!!!!

 

 

Here's my card for Wild Orchid Crafts. Our theme is Stitching. I used faux stitching since I don't have a sewing machine. Still gives a great effect... so don't feel like you need to run out and get a sewing machine. I always do faux stitching on my cards.

 

 

Well I'm off to get a few things done. This is the card we will be making at my class THIS Wednesday at This and That in Chino Hills. If you are in the area you should sign up.. there's still time!!!!

A new find!

 Hi there everyone!

 

I absolutely LOVE this card. This image is gorgeous and I loved every minute coloring it. I am so happy I found these images by Aurora Wings. I can't wait till I color the next image. I used my Copics to color and used my liquid pearls to fill in the pearls all over the image.

I have a few new classes I'm going to be teaching in the Southern California Area. I'll be working on a page with class updates and photos/supply lists/dates and times. So keep an eye out!

Today we have a new challenge over at Magnolia-licious. Our theme is Anything Goes. I have never colored this Magnolia image and being so close to Valentine's Day I though I'd give it a shot! Of course it's out of stock at Magnolia-licious. BUT-- there's so many cute Valentine's themed stamps. So check them out! I actually water colored this image. I have used my DI in a while and after being so inspired by Jenny Hodges at CHA I just had to get these bad boys out!
