The Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly exists to improve the living conditions of the metropolis through the provision of sustainable socio – economic developmentand good governance that is responsive to the needs of the people

STMA PRCC Takes Community Engagement Programme to Six Communities.

Leading the committee members, the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon. Patrick Brempoh, who also serves as the Chairman of the PRCC, educated residents on the major activities undertaken by the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly within the year. He also outlined the Assembly’s development plans for the coming year and beyond, touching on priority areas such as infrastructure development, sanitation, revenue mobilization, and service delivery.

Sekondi Sub Metropolitan District Council of STMA Rewards Staff.

Addressing staff at the durbar, the Sub-Metropolitan Administrator, Ms. Shirlene Konadu Addo, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to all staff for their commitment and sacrifices, which contributed to the successes chalked during the year. She noted that the achievements recorded were worth celebrating, and also provided an opportunity for staff to reflect on the year’s experiences.

Low Turnout Recorded at the December Clean-up Exercise in Sekondi-Takoradi.

Hon. Faidoo, after the inspection, expressed disappointment at the low turnout of residents in some communities, noting that the exercise could only achieve its intended impact when residents actively participated.
