5 years of Sumoggu Records

This year marks the fifth anniversary of Sumoggu Records. It's been a little more than five years since the first release Senata Fox / Brivido - Split ep has been released. We decided to do a small show in our hometown and for this occasion decided to invite a couple of Sumoggu bands and friends.

Bolesno Grinje - with two LP's already released on Sumoggu and a lot of albums released elsewhere, Bolesno Grinje are definitely the most productive (grindcore) band in the Croatian underground. Going strong for almost 15 years they will surely devastate anything in their path.

Public Disgrace - with just one official release, split LP with Brivido, they had already went on a European tour and had a bunch of gigs all over Croatia and Slovenia. A great band to see live, full of energy with dual vocal attack presenting the old school of Pula hardcore punk.

Ponor - special guests for this gig! Even though they don't have a release on Sumoggu Records, their members have been close friends of the label for years. They just released a new album of great dark hardcore punk metal mix. Already played a lot of gigs in Croatia and Slovenia, and played on almost all the summer punk festivals in Croatia. Together with Bolesno Grinje definitely the best band on this year's Monte Paradiso festival. Keep an eye on this guys!

The gig will take place in Rijeka in newly re-opened club Palach on 15.11.2014. More info coming soon.

SMOG6 is out now!

Great news for Friday the 13th, the records are out today! There's a gig tonight in Freiburg where you can get them for the first time. They are limited to 314 numbered copies. Check the dates of Public Disgrace tour, to buy the records. After the tour you'll be able to get it from here, or if you live in Germany from Fucking Kill, Pest & Cholera or Subwix, in France from Blackout Brigade, in Belgium from Neanderthal Stench and in Czech from Pope's Ass. Here's how it looks like:

Public Disgrace / Nulla Osta Euro tour

Brivido / Public Disgrace cover

It's finally done! A huge thanks goes to Lovro for the artwork and Dena for the final touches before the printing. The covers should be done by Wednesday next week and the official date of release is 13.9. The record will be available that day in Freiburg. Public Disgrace are going on a tour with Nulla Osta and that's their second date of the tour. The records should arrive here in two weeks or so.

SMOG6 update

Yes! The Brivido / Public Disgrace vinyl is in the pressing plant as of last week. Still waiting for the cover to be done. The plan is to send the cover to the printing office in a week or so. Everything will be done for Public Disgrace / Nulla Osta tour in September. I'll post the dates here. More news soon.

SMOG6 in the works

While we're waiting for Bolesno Grinje "13" LP, here's some news about the next release. It will be a split LP between Public Disgrace and Brivido. It will contain 25 minutes of fast hardcore punk. We're still looking for labels interested in this release, so if you want to participate, send an e-mail here.
The plan is to have the record out for Public Disgrace and Nulla Osta Euro tour in September. And Public Disgrace is playing in a local cinema next friday.
