To light the way

Here is a light house box I made using a 

pattern from Creationsbyar after 

cutting out and making it up I then 

used a cuttlebug embossing folder  

and embossed some card and cut out the bricks 

so there was one and half bricks and glued them down 

each edge of the light house.

  Also cut away the railings of the walk way and added home 
made rope . added a Christmas colour changing light 
and embossed all the acetate for the windows.
and cut out a weather vein for the roof

This is a project i am working on and i will show 

more as i have it ready

SNOW globes (flashing lights)

I brought some cheap christmas decorations that 

had flashing lights, pulled them apart to get the 

light out and made my own snowglobes 

using cricut and gypsy to design the globe .

Putting the snowflakes around the edge give a

good glow when the light is on 

These lights flash different colours

This years calender made by four of us 

I got the topic of AUTUMN and the number 0  out of 2012

Here is what i did for mine

I used an action wobble on the orange leaf

i used cuttlebug die/embossing set for the big leaf 

and punch for the litte ones

"Time Flies" (correction "Time (butter) Flies")

I made this with wood stretched artist canvas 

for a freind .

(she was telling a story about a clock she use to 

have that was specially made for her with the 

words "time flies"  and flies all around it ) since i

know she loves butterflies i thought i would make

Her a similar one except  i added the word butter

to the flies (look closely)

The butterfly flies around on the seconds hand.

Took the flowers round the side of the canvas

This is the box i put it in to give to her

To go with the cards I made the boys I also made

them pen holders for the desks

Using robotz and everyday cricut cartridges

and metal tape work

This little GNOME needed a HOME

Went to the shop looking for something  to buy that 

I had in mind to make for my friends birthday. But was unable 

to find it. BUT this is what I did see while there so I just 

had to buy him

 This is the label that was on him 

(How could i resist? )

 So i set to work to make this cheeky gnome a home

(check out the window not a shadow cat but a robot shadow)

 Even added his own transport

 Take the lid off and it is an exploding box

For the boots and most other things inside I used 

THIS LESSON 

 I used lots of cricut cartridges to do this 

but the main one would have to be freshly picked .
OH and used sizzlet die for the leafs on the tree 

OK NOW IT IS OFF TO IT"S NEW HOME

(i have to say bye bye to it )

Star SNOWGLOBE Mickey is a star!

OK I have to say at this point of time I am back to
being happy with my ecraft cutting machine.
Here is a Star snow globe Sliceform I designed
in inkskape and imported into SCAL and cut using
Ecraft machine. Only thing I would do in future
cutting of clear plastic is i would tape the Plastic
to the stablelizer paper better.
I am soo happy with how it cut (I had to use minimum tabs
while cutting)
Used mickey and Friends cricut cartridge to cut the mickey

It folds flat for posting
