Google's Blogger Enforces Sharia Law?

Lately I have had Blogger take down (i.e. they censored) a couple of my older posts that were critical of Muhammad or of his fake religion, Islam.  They featured Photoshops of Muhammad and the Quran.  The first showed Muhammad as Cyrano de Bergerac, as part of "everyone draw Muhammad" day.

The second showed a young boy peeing on a Quran.  This was a response to an Islamic cartoon showing a young boy peeing on the Statue of Liberty.

The problem, per Google, was that these depictions were a violation of Pakistani law.  So now we have a major US corporation enforcing the laws of a Muslim hell-hole over the Constitution of the United States.

Crickets and Web Crawlers

A few days ago I checked my Statcounter record of visitors to this blog.  Since I have been neglecting the blog, I expected to see a very low number of "hits."  I was shocked to see my hits were 500 - 700 hits per day.  However, I wasn't seeing a ton of visitors on my Revolver Maps globe.  What was up?

I figured it must be web crawlers from Google and other search engines.  I was right:  Google was giving me a digital colonoscopy.  But why?  I think I know.

Google is a very leftwing organization, and dislikes conservative content.  So they are scouring conservative sites to see if they can't unearth some tie to fascism,, "racism," White Supremacy or other excuse for deleting blogs.  That's my theory, anyway.

Anyway, I fixed Statcounter so that it does not record web crawlers as "hits."  Today my hits are back to their pathetically low level.  Why Google would even bother is beyond me.

Google's Goofy Graphic

This is the goofy graphic that Google is using today.  It shows a homely yet smug Asian woman speaking into a microphone, probably to urge on the sign-bearing demonstrators behind her.  Their signs spell out "EQUALITY," as if they didn't have it already.  This graphic conjures for me the ugly image of college campuses, where strident minorities rail against the white oppressor, while making absurd demands.  The "equality" they seeks is equality of access to your pocketbook or wallet.  They want free stuff, and they feel so morally superior in demanding it.

Of course, equality of responsibility and productivity is not what they seek.  The world owes them a living for just being here and taking up space.

UPDATE:  I found this info on FakeBook's "Crony Capitalism" site, referring to this graphic:
Today Google celebrates Yuri Kochiyama the woman who once said this -
“I consider Osama bin Laden as one of the people that I admire. To me, he is in the category of Malcolm X, Che Guevara, Patrice Lumumba, Fidel Castro, all leaders that I admire.”
My instincts were right.  Take one homely, smug Third Worlder with a microphone and you have a commie agitator.

Stogie Gets Last Laugh on Steve Benson

Steve Benson is a leftist cartoonist for the Arizona Republic.  A while back he really annoyed me by posting a cartoon of Sarah Palin with a revolver for a mouth.  He was perpetuating the Democrat constructed myth that Jared Loughner was inspired by Palin's "target map" into shooting Gabrielle Giffords. If Loughner was inspired by anything to do the deed, it was from the prevalent Democrat propaganda about the campaign map (including statements by Giffords herself), not the map itself.

In any case, I answered Benson with a cartoon of my own, depicting him with vampire teeth and a serpent's tongue.  He later contacted me about my depiction and we had it out.  See the cartoon and our exchange here.

Tonight I see several hits on that post, so I googled Steve Benson's name to see that he was okay.  I was afraid that maybe he came to some misfortune, causing people to google his name and finding a link to my post.  (Steve can be a nice guy, and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him.  Well, maybe getting fired, but that's not going to happen.  No not even getting fired.  I believe in free speech, even for those who disagree with me.)

There was nothing bad about Benson in the news, to my relief.  However, I was amused to see that Google's illustration of who he is (above, left), was accompanied by my cartoon depiction of him, not a serious image.  I imagine this was just a mistake on Google's part.  In any case, I get the last laugh, Steve Benson!

Google Sued for Age Bias

Potential Google Employee?
People who are over 50 have a much tougher time finding a job, as liberal Silicon Valley is one of the most age-biased sectors in the country.  It is widely understood here that older workers are treated as lepers.  I once worked in a temporary assignment for a controller named Steve M, at a software company in Cupertino.  Steve was very rude and disrespectful to me in staff meetings (probably because my superior accounting experience made him feel threatened), so I had a meeting with him to discuss it.  When I brought up the topic of age bias, he told me that "one of his best prior employees was an older person [a secretary]," but that "the older you get the more rigid your thinking."  I was astounded by Steve's ignorance, insensitivity and outright bigotry.

I have seen people with advanced Tourette Syndrome who had more tact and social skills than Stevie boy.  When I got up to leave, somewhat in a state of shock, his last mocking words to me were "Don't die!"  This jerk had lawsuit written all over him, but was careful to voice these insults in a meeting that included only him and me.

I was happy to see that an appeals court has allowed an age-bias lawsuit against Google to go forward, brought by an over 50 manager, one Brian Reid, who feels he was fired for being "too old."  The explanation that they gave him for his dismissal was that he was not a good "cultural fit."  Sounds indeed like code for "too old."  Mercury-News.com says:
Google recruited Reid, who had managed the team that built one of the first Internet search engines at AltaVista and who has a doctorate in computer science, in the summer of 2002. But the company fired Reid, then 54, within two years, allegedly saying he was not a "cultural fit," after co-workers and a supervisor had described him as "an old man," "slow," "sluggish" and "an old fuddy-duddy," and made remarks such as that Reid's compact disc cases should be relabeled LPs, according to court documents. Reid's supervisor, Urs Hölzle, then 38, and currently a senior vice president and Google Fellow, regularly told Reid that his opinions and ideas were "too old to matter," according to the documents.
Google, age bigots extraordinaire.  I hope they lose the suit.  No room for anyone at Google who doesn't have green hair, facial studs and lots of tattoos.  God knows, it isn't what you know that counts, but how fashionable and trendy you are.  Now I know why they never acknowledged my resumes for advertised jobs that were well within my experience and expertise.

If I ever get an interview with Google, I will have to lie about my age, wear a T shirt with a liberal slogan on it, and paint my face with red dots using a felt tip pen, to simulate pimples.  That and some water-based tattoos that can be washed off.  I wonder if they have fake facial studs that you can put on with glue?  I'll have to look into that.  A nose ring, an ear ring, and maybe a dog collar with studs.  That's the ticket!  Google will take one look at me and say "Resume?  You don't need no stinkin' resume.  You're HIRED!"

Blogspot's New "Template Designer" Sucks

Until recently, it was easy in blogger to change fonts, font sizes, text and back ground colors, etc.  It isn't anymore.  Now there is a tab called "designer" that allows you to choose among a small number of cheesy blog templates.  So your ability to change your "design" is highly limited, compared to what it was before.

Now if you want to change some feature, you have to go into the html panel and change the code yourself.  Since most of us aren't html programmers, that is easier said than done.  However, there are forums that help you do it.

Today I was able to add a background color to my sidebar titles and change the title color to white, thanks to these forums.  Use Google to find what you need.

Internet Explorer Crashing When Opening Blogspot Blogs

UPDATE: The problem was related to the Followers gadget. I removed the gadget and now the blog is loading fine in Internet Explorer. Thanks to Donald Douglas of American Power who alerted me to the problem.

I will resume blogging later today.

BLOGSPOT IS WORKING ON A FIX.

A growing number of people are reporting that Internet Explorer crashes when attempting to log on to blogs from blogspot.com.

Try using Google's new browser -- it's great. It's called "Google Chrome." You can download it for free at this link.

POSTING WILL BE LIGHT UNTIL BLOGSPOT FIXES THIS PROBLEM!

Google Chrome will require you to install a free add-in, but it's quick. Google Chrome will not crash when logging onto this blog!

I do hope, however, that Google (who owns blogspot.com) is not causing this so people will switch!

More as it develops...

Google Ads Now on Saber Point

I'm following the lead of my friend Donald Douglas at American Power and "monetizing" my blog.  I figure I may make enough money to buy a cigar in about six months.

Meanwhile I'm getting a lot of leftwing ads in the sidebar.   Try to suppress your disgust.  We'll see how it goes.

Next step:  I want to run Amazon ads advertising my favorite books.

Update:  Amazon books on conservatism now added.  Next will be a section of books on Islam that I have read and recommend.

Update:  Amazon books on Islam added.  I could add many more but don't know if I have the room!

Google Censors Atlas Shrugs

In a typically heavy-handed way, Google has deleted references to Pamela Geller's site, "Atlas Shrugs." Google Atlas Shrugs and you will get a list of other websites and blogs that refer to the site, but not the Atlas Shrugs site itself.

Geller has attempted to get an explanation from Google but has been treated shabbily by Google staff.

They say that the primary owners of Google are liberal Democrats and big supporters of Barack Obama. Apparently, the censorship of AS is due to the fact that Google doesn't want any publicity or discussions over Obama's birth certificate. Geller was an early critic of Obama for refusing to supply an official copy of his birth certificate. She was also the primary investigator of the forged document (a Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii) supplied by a liberal website.

Democrats can be very Machiavellian, as I have said many times on this site. They are not for "freedom of speech" per se, they are for freedom of liberal speech. Those with something to hide will find ways to hide it. And Google has.

This kind of soft fascism has been seen before in prior decades. President Woodrow Wilson had the Post Office refuse to deliver newsletters and magazines that did not support his policies. He even had people arrested and jailed for failing to support them. The details are covered in Jonah Goldberg's book "Liberal Fascism."

Welcome to Obama's America.
