I am taking a little break from blogging!
This weekend I received an anonymous email
from someone that visited my blog
it was not very nice... and hurt me
I am upset, but will be only for a little while.

UPDATE!
I am not going to stop blogging!
I love to write my poems, and share them here!
even if noone ever came to read them
I would still write them.... as I write for the pure joy and love
of what fills my heart to the brim!
Thanks to all of you who come here to read my poems
I do hope you might enjoy them.
Blessings !
-Margie:)

Here is a poem for today!
THINK ON THESE THINGS
Think of all the lovely things
a moment of inner peace
a flash of cardinal's wings
against the dark wood
the sweet strains of a violin
a soft pillow
and sweet sleep.
Each of us has their own awareness
of what makes life
most contented
good
and beautiful.
These are the graces
that help keep our balance.
We can forgive
the hurts
the regrets
and the griefs
of yesterday
when we turn our thoughts
away from the not-so-good
and let the contentment
flow in.
It is usually
in the small
and unnoticed things
that give us
the most peace
and pleasure.
So remember now
"Whatsoever things are true....
honest ... pure ... lovely .... goodness
THINK ON THESE THINGS!"
-Margie:)
i'm so sorry to hear about the anonymous email. don't understand who would want to hurt such a gentle and caring person like you.
ReplyDeletei hope you change your mind and come back to blogging soon!
this is a wonderful poem you've left us with!
Samuru: Know wat, ther are many crazy looking for a chance to hurt others.
ReplyDeleteDonno worry margie.
If you don't comeback then its like you listen to that stupid mail. Come back and that anon will be hit hard.
Don't be upset about an anonymous email! It was probably some jealous person who is upset because you're so darn cute!:)
ReplyDeleteYou should resolve to blog DOUBLE after this letter.:)
And the truth is, YOU are an expression of that honesty, purity, loveliness and goodness. I am witness to this - every day that I stop by this blog for a visit.
ReplyDeleteThinking is good...
Then might we deepen the experience
By feeling it
Knowing it
Owning it outright!
The loudest declaration of Love
Is the simple living of it
In our everyday lives
And you do just that, dear Margie. So many of us are grateful to you for your daily declarations of Love.
I, for one, look forward to your next lovely sharing :-)
Whoever your anonymous emailer was, the individual needs to get a life.
ReplyDeleteI mean, your blog is VERY kind, sweet tempered - just hard to see it as the sort of material that would bring an insult.
Lovely as always Margie. Thanks for your courage and love. Don't let this stop you.
ReplyDeleteConsider me one of your gargoyles. I stand in protection of this lovely sacred place where hearts can be open and where all can be who they are in respect and comfort.
Words of a loyal guardian:
There are those who take lightly the words of love and light. To them, darkness is their world. Every word uttered by any of us is stored within our soul. Consider twice before you tap hate upon your keyboard...for those same words are a curse upon your soul until they are taken back and replaced with love. It is you who we pity.
Protective blessings upon this website.
Oh, I'm sorry you are going away just as I am coming back. :(
ReplyDeleteRest and enjoy your healing time and I look forward to sharing with you in the future.
My friend, I am saddened that someone has ricocheted their disappointments in life in your direction.
ReplyDeleteI feel that this sadness they have has splashed on you without any serious intention of injury and I am saying a Living Prayer to comfort them and you.
I am hopeful that this form of resolution will assist your tender heart and support your soul of beauty. Goodlife my friend.
Hey Margie... so sorry to hear about the anonymous blogger... I don't know what was said, but know this...
ReplyDeletethe darkness is drawn to the Light, even it doesn't know why... so we shine our Light on it... and even if it doesn't respond with like... it is touched... and will never be the same...
Keep shining girl... you're doing fine...! :)
Margie dear Im here after a non-blogging weekend. I was so busy and I had a wedding to attend too.

But even if that upset u, know that u have a whole lot of other ppl who love u here ok?? hugggggggggz! btw I had so many anony haters...some even cloned me and abused me all over the net. Initially I was very upset but from that very experience, I grew. Now no one can upset me cos I have learnt to ignore junk.
**It is usually

I'm sorry to hear about the anonymous email. I love your blog and poems. You have a kind heart. Not everyone else in this world does, unfortunately. We need more people like you :)
ReplyDeleteYou know how many comes to me...I call it crank mail.
ReplyDeleteJust ignore it.
If you are taking a break for that reason, please don't, as it means that the person who sent it made a point of victory.
That is what he/she wants. Do the opposite, be brave come back and blog and show him/her that you are born in fire and a spark can’t wither you out.
Those lines are so touchy, Margie ! Thanks for sharing.
Please don't let this discourage you from blogging. People get jealous and love to critique stuff---and if that's what you took into offense, some of the best poets/artists/musicians out there have been insulted time and time again. Just know you have many fans!
ReplyDeleteMargie..really sad to hear about the email. that was a horrible thing to do.Why would some one want to do that. I think its a coward that does thing annonymously. I hope you wont stop because Your poems are so beautiful and inspiring.

You are right Margie. The small things are the ones that make the most difference.
ReplyDeleteJust ignore the anonymous email Margie. Some people need to get a life. It is upto you if you wish to continue to blog or not. If you wish to continue doing so, you will make a lot of us here happy and if you decide not to, you will make one insignigicant anonymous coward happy. It is your choice. Whatever you deicde, you will always have a special place in my heart. God bless you!
Take care Margie. Lotsa hugs to you.

Forget the anonymous email Margie...there's always people who make it a practice to stomp on the sacred fires of the soul or suck the life force out of people...it's their misery not yours...I feel pity for them, I really do...beautiful verse here!
