We started the year by painting Books of Mormon in preparation to study them for Come Follow Me this year.  We painted them with the Young Women and then with the family.  Very fun!

We celebrated Matt’s 47th birthday!  We had dinner, and our traditional watermelon cake, at home. We had a nice birthday lunch at Muriel’s with Grandma and Grandpa Malone.  Finally, I took Matt on an overnight date to Columbus.  We went to a Nate Bargatze comedy show and to the Columbus temple.

There was a eleven day period in January where we had no school due to snow and freezing temperatures.  The pipes at the office froze twice!  But we had a great time at home.  One day, we took the kids tubing at Canaan Valley.  It was 5 degrees and the wind was blowing hard, but we had a great time!

Jack broke his elbow, Henry played basketball, and the girls stayed busy with friends and school.  

Merrody did a great job making our new logo for the office.  We’ve spent a lot of time getting everything ready to buy out the Condes in April.  It should be great!

Spring Break 2023 in Naples

Highlights from Spring Break:

Sunday:  General Conference in the condo with paint by number pictures

Monday: Beach, Pool, and Tin City

Tuesday:  Beach and Parasailing

Wednesday: Naples Zoo, Pool, and Mini Golf

Thursday: Kayaking and dinner at Kelly’s Fish House

We had crab cakes, fish tacos, coconut shrimp, surf and turf, gelato, and frozen yogurt (3 times!!!!)

Fun times, but we missed Joel and Merrody!
