GDT Hanglar & Wings: Life is better on the farm!

Takk for at du tittet innom i dag!
Ønsker deg en fin tirsdag!

The best crazy bunch ever!

Hi there friends,

Popping by to show you part of a project I made for one of my favorite people in the whole world. My sister turns 40 this summer and yesterday we threw a surprise party with the girls.
I made a special and very personal gift for her, so I wont show the whole project. But I thought it would be fun to show you this image on the back of the project,
because I think it turned out kind of cool.

I used two fabulous Saturated Canary images: Selfie and Saturday Coffee. I masked them together and made this crazy bunch of us sisters and two of her best friends. We had a fantastic day and evening together and we laughed so hard my stomach muscles are still hurting.

Sorry about the picture quality, it's taken with my iPhone on the gift table....lol.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RITA!!!!
Love you more!

Masking tutorial- 3 stamps

Hi peeps,
Hope you are doing well. I'm busy behind the scenes at the moment, I'll show you later what I'm making these days. Today I have a masking tutorial for you.
I made this card using three stamps
...and here's how I did the masking :

1.  Start with the image you want to be in front. Stamp it on a  sticky note.  I try to get as much of the image on the sticky part as possible.

 2. Cut the image with scissors and blade.

 3. Repeat with the second image (bench) and get your background stamp ready.

 4. Start by stamping the front image.

 5. Cover your image with your sticky note mask. Stamp the second image on top.

 6. Place the bench mask to cover the bench, and stamp the window on top.

 7. Remove the masks... ta da... your image is ready for color!

Here's my finished image. I colored it with my Copic Markers.

Materials used:
Pion Design Vintage Garden – Phlox 6x6.
Magnolia – Sitting Tilda with butterfly, Bench and Romantic Window.
Norsk Stempelblad AS - Sentiment
Magnolia – Tilda lace die
WOC – roses
The  Ribbon Girls – Pearl pins
Kort og Godt – Krysanthemum

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today,
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

DT Ett Trykk- Pirate birthday card

Hello freinds and bloggers,

I hope you are doing well! Winter is finally here and my daughter finally got to try her new skies! She loved it. It's cold, but we kind of love it! The world is filled with beautiful white snow and it almost feels like it's still Christmas...lol. But no more Christmas cards for a while! Today I wanted to show you a card I made for Ett Trykk Magazine. The theme was masking, and I made this birthday card with a Pirate theme.
Pirat bursdagskort- kort med 3 lag.
The papers are Pion Design -Vintage Garden, the stamps are
Pirat Edwin, Pirat Tilda and Pier background by Magnolia, the sentiment on the inside is by Norsk Stempelblad AS.
I used Tim Holtz Grunge board and black fluid chalk, circle dies by Lifestyle craft and some corrugated cardboard and brads from my stash.
The images are masked tighter and I colored them with distress inks.
The card is made using 3 layers with a window in the front layer.
Here's the inside.
Pretty simple card really, suitable for one of my daughters little boy- classmates:)
Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by,
wishing you a creative day!

DT Ett Trykk: Counting down for Christmas

Happy Saturday friends and followers,

Today I want to show you a advent calendar I made for the October edition of Ett Trykk Magazine.
It's made using Marianne Skjelstads tutorial over at the Pion Design blog. I love these calendars, I made one last year too.

Papers are Maja Design, The sentiment stamps are by Norsk Stempelblad AS. I used the La La Land Crafts Filigree corner dies, Martha Stewart edge punch, the branch dies are by Cheery Lynn Design , I cut the little tags and numbers using my Silhouette. The gingerbread lineup is a Lifestyle Crafts dies, and the berries are by Magnolia.

The little box is filled with numbered tags, one for each day of December until Christmas Eve.

Here is Unwrapped Tilda.

I masked Lucia with the Welcome to a Sweet Christmas background stamp.

Here is Tilda hiding gift. All colored using my Copic markers.

Enjoy your advent!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today,
wishing you a creative saturday.

DT Copic Marker Norge #44

Last chance to join in my blogcandy today: click HERE!
***

Good morning peeps,
Popping by to let you know about the new challenge over at Copic Marker Norge.
Today we challenge you to make a Christmas card using two stamps on your card.
And don't forget: we are a copic challenge blog...lol.

Here's my card. Pretty clean and simple, and unusual for me, but the image was so big I didn't want lots of embellishments to compete with it:
***

Her er DT bidraget mitt til Copic Marker Norge. Stikk innom bloggen for å delta i utfordringen. Fargeforklaringene finner du på norsk der:)

I used papers from Vibeke Spigseth/Poppy design, a Martha Stewart Snowflake punch and a pearl center by wild orchid crafts. The sentiment is from Norsk Stempelblad and means Merry Christmas.
I used my sewing machine along the edges of the papers.

I masked two Magnolia stamps together and colored the image with Copic Sketch markers. Colors used:
Skin: E13-11-00-000
Sweather and hat: B95-93-91-23-21, BV20, W5
Skirt, skarf, mittens:BV25-23-20, W5
Shoes and hair: E44-43-42-41-20, W7-5
Greens: G94-82-21-40,W5-3
"White": W3-1-00
Dotted background, ground:BV31-20-02- 000, B60, C1, C3

I used snowtext on the trees to make it look like snow. Kind of cool- it gives the trees a small 3D effect.

Pop over to the Copic Marker Norge blog to see the gorgeous inspiration the DT have made for you and join in for some coloring fun!

Copic Marker Norge #38

Good morning friends and followers!
Spring is finally here, and the month of May brings lots of extra days off work here in Norway. It also means spending a lot of time with family and friends, and less time for crafting, that's why it has been a bit quiet around here the last few days.

Today I'm sharing my second DT card for Copic Marker Norge. Our challenge this time is easy:
Anything goes!
The DT girls had lots of fun coloring the same image with different colors, stop by the CMN blog to have a look!

My color was brown, and of course I had to use my favorite markers these days: The E40's:

I used Maja Design papers from the vintage spring basic collection. The lovely lace is from the Live & Love craft store. The flowers are WOC and Kort og Godt. I also tried the famous frantage, I've seen it "all over" blogland for so long, I had to give it a go. So I ordered some from the LLC and here is my first...lol. The sentiment stamps are by Norsk Stempelblad AS.
I distressed the edges with distress ink, walnut stain, and used one of the cute musical notes paper clips by Prima.

I masked two Magnolia stamps: Pippi Longstocking and Edwin's Town.
Copic Markers used:
Hair, dress, stockings, shoes, house roofs and bricks: E 44-43-42-41-40, W7-5
Skin: E13-11-00-000-0000, R32-30,
Shadows: W7-5-3-1-00, B60 (sky)

Hope you like it!
Please stop by the CMN blog to see the lovely creations from the talented DT- ladies, and join in the challenge!
