Although I'm not sure what the symptons of 'spring fever' are, I think I have it!  I had a list of all the things I wanted to get done this week, but so far I haven't been able to cross many items off the list.....I keep getting sidetracked, or lose my momentum, or just plain can't focus.  What the heck is up with that?  I guess I'll  save the list for next week and just enjoy the nice weather we're having :)

The card - the stamps are from Hero Arts.  I inked the stamps with markers then added some background splotches with pear.  Colors are pear, daffodil, marina mist and cherry cobbler.  The panels are popped up.

Time to clean up the mess I've made from the last couple of days of stamping.  Didn't get quite as much done as I had hoped, but hey, something is better than nothing, right?  Now I need to get some wool applique stuff put together  - need to work on some birthday gifts.

I'm always getting comments asking about the sentiment I've used here.  I got this quite a while ago at Michael's (in the dollar bin).  Because I'd had so many comments about it, I contacted Hampton Arts and asked if it was still available....sorry to say they told me those Studio G stamps they make for Michael's are a limited run, when they're gone, they're gone.

I started out my day yesterday trying to get some stamping done...alas, that wasn't going so well.  So, I decided to go for a drive over the Mesa even though it was a bit cloudy.  But by the time I got there, the sun had come out and there was plenty of blue sky.  Got some pretty decent pictures!  I guess the drive energized me because I had much better luck getting some stamping done last night - yay!  Now, today I think I will see if the luck holds and I can get some more stamping done!

The taxes are done - woo hoo!  Now I can concentrate on getting some stamping done today...way more fun!

Another free day...oh my.....I should have had a plan...well, I sort of did.  I was hoping for a nice sunshiny day to drive up to the Mesa to take some snow pictures.  Don't think the weather is going to cooperate..it's cloudy and windy.  But that may change...guess I'll just go with the flow today and see what happens.

Project Sunday - finished this framed piece this week...something a little different for me.

The card - hexagon embossing folder is from SU.  I embossed several different pieces of patterned paper and cut the shapes out and adhered them to the embossed background. 

Not exactly sure what I'm doing today..... I'm feeling much better so have no excuse for laying around and doing nothing :)  There's an abundance of things I need to do, so maybe I'll just pick one and start from there.  I do need to start thinking about class projects for next week too!  Looking forward to our regular Friday night craftin' tonight!!!
