Vinyled Tile

Hello Crafty Friends!!!!
Today is my day to share a project with my friends over at She's A Sassy Lady, and I have a great project for you today, a tile, a ceramic tile with some vinyl on it to be displayed on a plate holder, A friends mom just turned 65 and She loves her doggie so much, and I had no idea what to get her and this idea popped in my head, I have seen so many of these done and thought I would give it a try,
here is the final product.
starting with a picture of the dog
My son helping me with the photo editing,  I used adobe Photo Shop, we created an image I could cut out
I imported my image to MTC and added his name
here it is all weeded, that didn't take as long as I thought it would, plus weeding is my favourite part...lol
I picked up a tile at my local hardware store, it is a 12 x 12
using transfer tape I applied it to a clean tile,
She actually cried, she loved it, and so do I, I can't wait to make another one,
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my prject...

Tank Top Iron On Vinyl Project

Hello Crafty Friends,
I am so happy to share with you and my friends over at The Bugbytes today, I just LOVE this new Cricut Iron On Vinyl!!!!!
my son's friend ask if I could make her a shirt, She has wanted this shirt for a while so of coarse I said yes....

starting with the iron on vinyl I placed it on my mat, remember shiny side up, and when cutting your image or words out remember to mirror before cutting, the shiny side is actually the transfer tape and the dull side is what you will place onto your shirt,
She choose her shirt and I ran the iron over it to heat it up, then apply your vinyl
Remeber to put a thin cloth over the vinyl, between the iron and the vinyl, and use a solid surface, and your muscles...lol alot of pressure is needed
and here she is with her new shirt on, I LOVE it, and so did she,
my son and her and a few others were going to see Jason Aldean, and she had to have her shirt to wear....
Thank you so much for stopping by today,
and if you have any questions about Iron On Vinyl, please ask away, it is sooooo easy to do...

Iron On Vinyl-Lawn Chair

Hello Craffty Friends,
I hope you are all well,
we are looking forward to a Long weekend this weekend,
Happy Canada Day my fellow Canadians!!!!!!
well let's get to my post, that is the reason you are here, LOL!!!
Today is my day over at She's a Sassy Lady
Thank you Sheila,
Today I have an Iron-On Vinyl project for you,
I just received an order from my Favourite on-line seller,
Terri from Stamps Alive here is a link to her,
She is Fabulous to deal with....
Cricut has recently come out with Iron-On Vinyl, I couldn't wait to
try it, here is a sneak peak at the finished product.....
A child's Moon chair for my puppy to sit in, yes I said my puppy...
we spend alot of time outdoors, and he keeps stealling everyones chair when they get up, so I found this child's Moon chair and thought this is perfect for him, with a little personalization of coarse...lol
Using MTC I used the LD Red Hatter's Hand Font and some paw prints I traced Remember to mirror your image
and usinmg Cricut's new Iron On Vinyl in black and Silver glitter
place the vinyl shiney side down on your mat, note when I cut out the regular black iron on vinyl using the kiss cut setting was ok      3-3-3 cutting once , but when cutting the glittery one you need to do the 3-3-3 but use multi cut 2, it is pretty thick
using your iron heat up the area you are going to apply the vinyl to before adding the vinyl, then place your vinyl ( I did not use my ironing board, because you need to apply alot of pressure to the iron, I used a towel on a good hard wood table)
then placed another thin towel over my images, apply alot of pressure moving iron around and did I say ALOT of pressure, LOL
I would say probably for 3 - 5 mins
Carefully and slowly lifting the transfer tape (that is already there) while your image is still warm
and voila!!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!!!
I love the Iron On Vinyl, so many possibilites!!!!
here is the final product, I probably could have gone a little bigger but there are so many bars behind this chair, this was as big as I could do it and still get my iron to lay flat
here is Taz enjoying his chair before I got it done,
he LOVES his chair, unfortunatly he is not here to try it out all done, as he is at the Vets....... he just turned 6 months so he is, well you know what happens when a puppy turn 6 months......hopefully he will stop stealing everyones chair now that he has his own,
I haven't talked much about my new Puppy Taz, my hubbie got him for me for Valentine's Day, some of you may have seen pictures of my beautiful Pug Lola, unfortunatly we lost my beautiful girl the begininng of Feb., she got out the back door, and ran away, she never would go to far and would always come home with in minutes, but on this day she never came home, and she went a little further away and was hit by a car, I miss her sooo much and have been very upset over losing her, my husband feels responsible as he was the one to leave the door open, of coarse I don't blame him, but it has been very hard for us, anyone who has owned a pug will understand, even though we barely had her a year, she really was a huge part of our lives, those little pug personalities are just something, So I would like to introduce my new baby Taz...aka Tazzy , Taz Man....he is sooo cute, He is a Bugg, a Boston Terrier/Pug Mix
This is my little man Taz at 7 1/2 weeks old and 3 lbs....so cute right
and here is my Taz Man today at 6 months old, and weighing 17 lbs.....still pretty cute little guy

Thank you so much for stopping by today,

and please let me know if you have any questions about Iron-On Vinyl,

Vinyl Stickers for the Truck

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today is my day to post at She's A Sassy Lady,
Today I have a sticker I made from vinyl, I LOVE Vinyl.....
I must give you a little story on this prject.....
My son LOVES for me to make him vinyl stickers for his truck, bike, and well pretty much anything else he can attach them to...LOL he comes up with some pretty funny stuff.....and I create it....He LOVES to go Muddin' he has a 4x4 Toyota 4 Runner and loves to get muddy, well one day he hit a tree and put a pretty good dent in his back fender, he was upset for about a minute, then he came up with "chicks dig body damage" and said mom.....can you....and I said of coarse, so using my Cricut and MTC I found this great font ( it doesn't have a very nice name)......and was it time consuming to weed, it really looks like someone wrote it in marker on his truck....
here it is on my screen...along with some 4x4's for his friends atv.....

here it is after a lot of weeding
and here is the final project......
I think it looks great!!!!! when we can see it...his truck is usually covered in mud!!!! and the Cricut Vinyl is so great!!!!! he power washes his truck 4 times a month.....at least, and some of these have been on there for months......( I have made all the stickers in the picture)
doesn't the font look like someone wrote it in marker!!! I will put the name of the font in my comments.....I really don't like the name of it....
Thanks for stopping by today, and a big thanks to Sheila for having me......

Canadian Girls Rock

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!!
today I am revisiting a card  made a little bit ago...I have to admit I have not paper crafted for about a month now....terrible  know, i have been knitting...these Sashay scarves are sooo adicting.....lol and I am working on a baby blanket....
today is my day to share over at The BugBytesI recently purchased a set of stamps from Pink by Design, called Canada.....which is GREAT cause I am Canadian!!!! and as a Canadian crafter it is kind rare to find Canadian stuff, so when I saw Sarah had created this set I knew I must have it!!
Using my Rock Princess Cartridge, I cut this Rockin (Canadian) Girl out at 4.50 using my Gypsy( she was a little big, so my card needed to be 6x6)
I always leave all those little pieces on my mat while I am piecing my images together
I scored my Card Base on my Martha Stewart Score Board..LOVE IT!!!!
I added some studs with my Imaginse I-Rock (must have tool)

Canadian Girls Rock stamp from Sarah @ Pink by Design
and the finished card, I love how it turned out!!!
the zebra paper is from a paper pack at Michael's and all other paper is SU

Thank you so much for stopping by today

Writing On The Wall

Hello Crafty Friends,
hope you are all well, it has been soooo cold here, I can't wait for spring to get here....
Today is my day over at She's a Sassy Lady, I would like to share a project I did for my MIL, she had just painted her bedroom and wanted some writing on the wall above her bed, she had a picture in her room in a frame with some beautiful, romantic saying on them so we used one of them to put on the wall....here is a pic of the finished work.... I am so happy with how it turned out, and She LOVED IT!!!!
So using your a font from my computer and my 12 x 24 mat I started typing...
using a ruler and painters tape we made a level starting line....
and we used a lot of transfer tape
I found it easier to start at the end and work backwards....
after we place the words she felt it was missing something....
we added the 2 hearts, they were an after thought but they fit perfectly where they are, almost like we planned it...hehehe
 here a little close up
I did use my MTC software, but you could use this with your Gypsy or the CCR
Thank you for stopping by today,

Valentine's Day Wall Hanging- She's A Sassy Lady

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today is my day to share a project over at She's A Sassy Lady, thank you so much Sheila for letting me share with you today.....
this is a project I did a while ago.....like 2 years ago...but with Valentine's Day coming...and my house about to be packed up....renovations....I thought I would share this project with you...

I used a set of 8 chipboard coasters I picked up at Michaels for .50 cents I think.. I only needed to use 4,  then I covered both sides with cardstock using my ATG.

I inked the edges......

using my BIA, I binded the edges together using 5/8 in binding rings

using my Crop-a-Dile I  punched holes in the top coaster and wrapped in wire

using my Xyron 250 Sticker Maker, I put my letters  in it backwards, so the sticky was on the front
after I Glittered and put my Letters on the coaster,
I used Glossy Accents to seal in the Glitter, and give it a glossy look

Here is the final picture of my wall hanging, I am soooo happy with how it turned out....

Some of the Cricut Carts I used are:
Create A Critter, Indie Art,
Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art
and Paper Pups,
I also used my Bind-It-All, Crop-a-Dile Big Bite,
Xyron 250 Sticker Maker, and an ATG gun.
Red Stickles, Red Glitter, Glossey Accents, and pop dots.
Thank you so much for stopping by today....
