Blessings

Good Monday All!

This week the challenge at The Kraft Journal is "Blessings". I had a sentiment from WPlus9 Stamps that was used as my starting point for my card this week.

I started with a card base of Buff Ivory Cardstock onto which I layered a brown piece of patterned paper where next I added layers of fall inspired patterned papers to complete the foundation.

I took a length of Bias Tape and wrapped it around the card front and tied in a bow which I embellished with a fall leaf button. Using Buff Ivory Cardstock, I made four different die-cuts, one for the sentiment, one the postage square, then the pumpkin, and leaf. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo.

Before assembling, I took Brown Kraft Baker's Twine and added to the postage square tying off in a double bow. My last bit of embellishing was adding a paper rose to the center of the pumpkin.

Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your Blessings creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.

I am adding to join in also at The Paper Players - Fall Thank You, Can You Case It:Fall Edition.

Baseball Player Birthday Card {Day 3}

Hey again,

{I'm honored that this card was chosen as "Take The Cake" Winner on 11/5/15 at Seize the Birthday}

My blog doesn't know what to do with postings everyday this week, and I will have one tomorrow too!

I am back with Day 3 of baseball cards as I work on getting these ready for my son to give his teammates. Again, I worked with scraps and stuck to the travel team colors as you have seen over the last few days. :)
I started with a Navy Blue card base onto which I added a layer of Brown Kraft Cardstock. I took some patterned paper scraps and pieced them together to layer on top of the kraft. I added a felt border trim I had in my ribbon stash.
I die-cut, stamped and embossed the pockets from Wplus9 -A Pocketful of.  Next was the fun part adding the baseball elements.  You have seen these incorporated the last few days and they are from PTI. The sentiment which I built and stamped on a tag are from Wplus9 -A Pocketful of.
I am honestly getting my money's worth out of my baseball stamps. Please share if you know another company with cute baseball or a sports theme. I know I will be making baseball cards for years to come.

I found inspiration at Seize the Birthday - A Pocket Card. (Toppings)

"A Pocket Card"
I am also joining one last time at Pink and Main - Birthday.
Thank you again for visiting. I will give you a break tomorrow from baseball cards! :)
Have a Fantastic Friday!

I am so glad you stopped by to visit with me today. I have a card to share with you that I am also sharing on the Trendy Twine Blog as well using some fabulous Nautical Trendy Twine...a few more days to still get this awesome twine on sale.

I started this card by using a Kraft Brown card base onto which I layered designer paper. To soften things, I added a paper doily. I took a length of seam binding ribbon and wrapped it around the center of the card face and tied in a bow. I embellished further with a button and a double bow of Nautical Trendy Twine.

I then took a length of Nautical Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the card front several times for added visual interest. Lastly, I stamped a mason jar which I shaded with copic markers. I stamped and added a label for the greeting adding a set of cute blueberries which I added a touch of glitter to.

All you have to do is incorporate Kraft cardstock or products from The Kraft Outlet you pick any three from the list you see in the graphic below and that's it...how fun!!! I couldn't just pick three though...It's just too much fun!

I used more Brown Kraft Cardstock to cut an xoxo border where the pieces meet. I added a doily to the center.  Next I created a tag from a die-cut I made adding White Twill tapeRed Baker's Twine made into a bow which was also laced in a Red Heart Button.  At the bottom, I added a row of buttons threaded with Natural Hemp Twine to finish it off.

Vintage Valentine {The Kraft Journal}

Hey There Friends~

Good Morning! It's a new week and that means a new challenge at The Kraft Journal this week. Our theme is Valentines. I decided to go Vintage featuring products found at The Kraft Outlet
I started with a base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock which I adhered to the heart patterned paper.  I used both Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock and Buff Ivory cardstock to frame the darling focal image which comes from the Seasonal Salvage Sticker Pack. Just below, I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment from WPlus9 in red ink.
Next, I took a length of Oatmeal Cream Hand Stained Bias Tape and wrapped it around the left side of the card front and created a fluffy bow which I embellished with a button laced with Red Baker's Twine and stamped images from DeNami Design onto a Scalloped Grungy Prim Tag.  Lastly I added a red heart stick pin for a special Valentine touch.
Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your Valentine creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.

I think You're Cool {Valentine}

Hey! How are you this morning?!?!?

I have a sweet little Valentine to share with you! You are also going to find me over on the Trendy Twine blog today as I used some yummy Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine. I can't get enough of it!
I started this card by piecing together Valentine patterned paper which I framed to a piece of red cardstock; then layered to Blackboard Stock Paper.  Where the two patterned papers meet, I wrapped a length of of black, gingham ribbon around the card front which I tied in a bow;  I embellished my ribbon treatment further with a cream velvet bow, Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and a red heart button.
I die-cut two layering hearts which I stamped a sentiment from WPlus9 Bitty Buddy Valentine at an angle in cranberry ink. The cute little penguin also from the same set; was stamped on it's coordinating die-cut in black ink and popped up with foam mounting tape on the layering heart combo. A few sequins and a stamped heart was added, but the finishing touch for this focal image was trimming it in Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine before adding it to the card front. Lastly, I had a snippet of crochet trim from my stash which I intertwined with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine before adding it to the top edge of the card.

Well Hello there!

So for my project, I am sharing this cute "Beach Bucket" SVG Project Kit, and as you can see I went with a Valentine Theme by using the Hearts A Flutter Digital Paper Pack to cut my files with.
I took the gorgeous Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and added to the top of the bucket handle tying a bow on each end. I outlined the sentiment portion of the shovel with it as well.  After I added the bucket sleeve, I took white crepe paper and pleated it all the way around the center next adding a double layer of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine!
I cut the flower that comes in the kit using solid papers from the Hearts A Flutter Digital Paper Pack with the exception of Red and White they are from my own inventory. I added a button laced with Cherry Cupcake!

Lastly, I just filled my bucket with a candle and some packaged chocolates tied off and embellished with a pink jingle bell, Happy Valentine greeting from WPlus9, and twine.

The Kraft Journal 143 - Color Challenge

For today's Color Challenge, at The Kraft Journal, I am a sucker for the blue pumpkins you see this time of year, so I decided to use that as my starting point for today's challenge. I stamped a pumpkin image from Wplus9 onto Medium Weight Kraft cardstock with blue ink.

I placed the pumpkin image and sentiment inside an oval cut from Buff Ivory Cover Weight cardstock. I then covered the card base with a beautiful piece of fall patterned paper and C-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper which I painted with a vintage white paint and added a touch of chunky glitter.
I then ruffled some Natural Twill Tape above the Corrugated Kraft PaperA double bow was created from brown and white checked gingham ribbon and embellished with a button and bow made from Orange and White Baker's Twine sneaking in a few paper fall leaves for further embellishing.
Lastly I added the oval focal image and anchored it down with buttons laced with Natural Hemp Twine

The Kraft Journal 139 - Color Challenge

For today's color challenge at The Kraft Journal, I found that using a piece of designer paper from my stash was a perfect jumping off point and added it to a card base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock.  Next I added a doily to the center to mat the main focal image. I die-cut a pumpkin and leaf from Wplus9 from Kraft Text Weight Paper which I stamped to coordinate.
At the top of the focal point, I tied a bow with brown and white baker's twine and embellished with an orange button.
I stamped the sentiment in the upper right top corner.

On the left side, two banners were cut from paper that coordinates with the main patterned paper used. I took a piece of patterned paper to cover a Chipboard Flag Piece to add to the top of the other two banner pieces.

Lastly, I added a variety of flowers in a cluster and a fall leaf to the lower left corner embellishing further with a brown satin bow and a sunflower.

Here is this week's Color Challenge photo.
Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other gals.  We hope to see your Color Challenge creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.
