The party all started in Late 1998. Taco picked up a guitar without any prior knowledge of how to play. His style occurred naturally and began writing his infamous "funny" songs. He began showing up at parties or anywhere where there was a crowd and would play til the early morning. A buzz was created in Jackson, Tennessee and Taco began to play acoustic shows at various venues like resturants, bars, and such. People began to encourage Taco to make a cd and in March 1999, the now classic Taco acoustic album "Last Stand at 684", was recorded. The process was simple, run a mic through a karaoke machine and record. With the success of the acoustic album Taco decided to form a band. With Taco at the healm, the band unwittingly created a style unlike anything you've heard. With influences from rock, rap, and reggae and an energetic live show, earned Taco & Da Mofo's the title of "Your Good Time Band". From this point to the present, the band may have changed members, but has never been tighter. Taco humbly began making a crowd laugh and have a good time. Now a full out urban assualt on the music biz has begun; everyone will soon know the full extent of Da Mofo's. Taco & Da Mofo's have played shows all across Tennessee since 2000. Now the band is more mature and understands what it takes to make good music and be sucessful in life. The band now consists of Robert Moore aka Taco, Chris" Keela" Case, Shane Boggy, Charlie Eaves, and Shannon Harris. Taco & Da Mofo's entered the studio late 2005 with the mission to produce their most ambitious music yet. Working with producer Skid Mills (ZZ Top, Saliva, Hole, Robert Cray, 3 Doors Down, and many others) is a dream come true. The future of the band is limitless. Currently Da Mofo's are playing shows and once more building a grassroots following. Taco & Da Mofo's continue to spread the good vibes one fan at a time...

Freedom For King Kong is a fusion band, formed in 1994 in Lorient, France. The band members are African born Bring's (vocals), Ton (keyboards), Bubu and Ben (drums-Percussion) and Djey (guitars). The bands music is often similar to fellow French fusion artists Dirty District and Lofofora, but the band also draw influences from various other bands such as Skindred, Public Enemy, Suicidal Tendencies and Dub War. The band first released their self-titled debut demo and later released the follow-up the very eclectic Citoyens du monde in 1997. The music was strongly influenced by reggae and ragga. The follow up album, Primate Diplomate, featured more experimentation into Rap and Punk rock, but remained true to the band's reggae roots. During this time, The band was growing in popularity throughout France and they later released the albums Marche Ou Rêve, the slower Issue de ce corps (which features additional experimentations with Theremins), and a bizarre dancehall/Ragga version of Blondie's "Heart Of Glass", which is totally unlike the original. The band have recently stated that they are going on a permanent hiatus and have released a DVD entitled '10 Ans De Goril' Music' (Ten Years Of Goril' Music) which is available from their website.

One thing is already sure, ANODYNE-29 is a brooding band from the German Underground, which could soon keep up with exceptional bands like (hed) PLANET EARTH or SKINDRED. The band describes their music as “Ragga Infected Metal” which hits the nail on its head and they can convince with much diversity and playing. The opening crusher “Sowin’ Pain” already sets the tone and shines with much heaviness and power, on the other side, you can always make out the fun, ANODYNE-29 had on the recordings. The subtly infused Reggae passages suit perfectly to the entire picture and they sound never affected. The same goes for the following song “Phoenix”, which is accessible through the variable singing of the two singers Andy Koa (reminds me often of Peter Steele or Glenn Danzig) and Finga. Musically, it’s always pressuring and the instrumentation has always some nice ideas to support the two frontmen. “Release Me” is great as well and it’s followed by the ear candy ”Love On The Table”. Exactly this song is an absolute highlight and should serve for some great live atmosphere. ANODYNE-29 manage it, to create their music quite hard but always danceable. Who doesn’t believe, should listen to songs like “Torture” or “Burn My Love” and then you can judge for yourself. They can keep up this level in these two songs, too and although the Nu-Metal scene is more and more decreasing, this band will definitively make its way. Due to the long-year experiences of the individual members, “Phoenix” got a really matured record, which should open some doors for the Germans. As bonus, you get a well made Video CD with three visually arranged songs of this mini album. The packaging is also great, so I can this absolutely recommend. Now interested?
