Little square motif

I tried several little motifs to connect  Ninetta's little square motifs. I have played a little bit: the first one is quite stressed, so on the next one  I didn't connected the middle picots.

Gyöngyös - Tatting with beads

Na jó, bár nem szeretek gyönggyel hajócsipkézni ( mert sokat kell a hajócskán ide-oda tologatni, rakosgatni a gyöngyöket ), most mégis kipróbáltam egy kis virágmintát.
Tanulság, hogy kevesebb csomót kell a gyöngyök között hagyni, mert így formátlan!

I don't like to work with beads, because it's too slow for me:) But now, I had an experiment with this little flower motif. As I can see, there are too much knots between the beads, and the shape is not perfect:)

Csipke és gyapjú - Tatting and "wooling"

Bejelentkeztem az Umintsuru blog tat along projectjére, mert érdekesnek találom, és mert az a levél motívum nagyon izgatja a fantáziámat. Hozzákezdtem, tegnap két virágot készítettem.


Umintsuru tat along project is very interesting for me, because the leave motif.
Actually, it is the motif No. 12 for me from 25, in 25 motif challenge.

 Ez pedig egy kis sárgára festett gyapjú, amit lehet, hogy önmagában fogok használni, de lehet, hogy nem:-)
I don't know what to do with this yellow wool, but I love its color:-)

Hajócsipke virágok - Tatted flowers

Selyemfonalból, tűvel  készítettem ezeket a virágokat. Már elég jó irányba haladok a csipkekelme megalkotásával:-)

Silk thread, needle tatted flowers for lacy fabric.

Tök. A kelta változatát meg sem mertem próbálni, pedig nagyon tetszik. 
O.K. This is a pumpkin. I don't have enough courage to try the celtic tatted one.

 Az előző bejegyzés talán kissé félreérthető volt. A "ládából" előkerült csipkék és a lányom ruhája között csak a fiók az összefüggés. A ruha így néz ki:-)
Gyapjú zsorzsett, fekete selyem díszítéssel, no meg a virág is selyemből készült. Ugye milyen jó dolga van ennek a kislánynak?
This is a dress for my daughter. There will be a vintage party ( it means the vine making vintage ).

No secret

There's no secret about my flower motif with woven edging. Here are some photos how I made it.


I tat with shuttles, in  this case one shuttle.  When I have to make the woven part, there's no shuttle at all, only the thread.

Weekends are always very busy for me, because my children come home from the college, my husband from his "country-work" and I have to wash and iron a huge "mountain" of clothes. And of course it is the time when we can be together as a family.
But now, I had to try to tat my flower with JKs, just to know how it shows.

What I really want to make is a lace "fabric" ( as you know I always think about dresses ), basically black, with white flowers between. Maybe this is the good "direction" to reach my goal, but I still do not like the outer ring. That's true, the black thread is thinner than the white and the black can't be pronounced. And I want to add some beads for the central JK ring. Anyway I have to work on it:-)

More experiments - design process

Na igen. Tegnap megalkottam az osztott Josephine csomókat. Jó, jó, de önmagukban mit sem érnek. Nyilván be kell építenem őket valamilyen mintába. Igen ám, de az nem olyan egyszerű, mivel pikó nélkül egy kicsit nehezebben kapcsolhatóak.
Elsőre  egy virág motívum részeként próbáltam ki és azt hiszem, nagyon szépen mutat. A virág többi részével nem vagyok annyira megelégedve, de hát ilyen a kísérletezés. 
Azért már alakul egy ötlet, itt kavarog a fejemben:-)
Másfelől viszont egyáltalán nem vagyok elégedett, mert egy olyan motívumot szerettem volna, amelyik beleillik a Napoleon sorozatba. Feltett szándékom, hogy még olyat is készítek. De nem ma....


Yes, here are my "famous" split JKs. But what for? I had to try them in some motif. Now here is a flower in the middle with  JKs. I don't like the whole thing, but it is only the design process. I have an idea sparkling in my brain, but it isn't good with my Napoleon line. So I have to make something else  .... but not today.
