Mr. Magoo

Soon after McKay was born I started calling him Mr. Magoo.

Don't you think they look alike?!

Blessing Day

My sister, Heather, was gracious enough to let us bless McKay the same day they sealed and blessed Halle. She rented a beautiful reception center to fit us all. It was such a sweet day as I looked around the room and saw all the friends and family who I love so much.
THANK YOU to all those who came.

McKay and Grandma Urry

Collin was excited to see his friends Ema and Lorelei!

One of Collin's best friends is his cousin Carlie...I love it!

I love this one of Carlie...it just says "childhood" to me!

Family, family and more family!

McKay Richards and Marilyn Richards!

Halle, my mom and Marilyn

My brother Rick took pictures of the day (thanks again!) He thought it was funny that every time he went to go take a picture of our friends Cameron and Jackie, Cameron was sitting by someone else. He finally got one of them together right before they left.

My sister was smart enough to get some precious photos to remember the day. I, on the other hand, was too busy saying goodbye to people and feeding McKay to realize how special these photos would be one day.

Here is some of the decor we put out. I joked with Heather that it looked like Halle and McKay were getting married. I wonder what we'll do when they get baptized!!

After everyone left, we headed over the the temple to get a couple pictures. But as you can tell, it was a little too windy and cold!

When we got back to Heather's house, I wanted to get some pictures of Halle and McKay together...can you tell who was done with the day!

THANK YOU Halle (and Heather) for letting us be a part of your special day!!

Beautiful Day

Halle Jo was sealed to Kirk and Heather in the Logan temple on a beautiful (but a tad bit windy) March day!! What a neat and special experience to be in the temple for this wonderful occasion. Even though she has only been in the family for 6 months, I can't imagine our family without her.

A decent smile would be nice!

A few weeks ago, we attempted to take some pictures of the boys together. As you can tell, Collin had a little bit too much energy to sit still and hold his brother. Maybe we will try again when he is a little calmer :)

Play day with Halle

We were lucky enough to get to watch Halle for about 24 hours while her family headed to Boise to watch Utah State play some b-ball.

Just hanging out.

Hmmm...wonder if McKay is gonna go for this...

I think by raising his hand he is saying, "I give up! Help me!"

I wonder how she'll do when the roles are reversed...

She doesn't seem to be a fan!

St. Patrick's Day festivities

St. Patrick's Day was one of my favorite holidays as a kid. My mom always made it so fun (well, actually she made every holiday fun).

Anyway, below are some pictures to document our green day; which, just happens to be Collin's favorite color!

Enjoying some Eggo waffles with green butter, caramel syrup and green sprinkles. We also had green milk.

When I pulled out the green milk, Collin was so surprised. I acted surprised too and asked him if he did it. He said,
"No. Hmmm, it must have been dad...or a leprechaun!"

When he asked Jason about it and Jason said he didn't do it, Collin got so excited that a leprechaun came to our house! I was kind of glad that he didn't ever ask me if I did it. I don't know if I would have lied to him.

He then spent the rest of the day talking about how the little leprechauns got into our house and if they used food coloring or if they were just magic!

Sharing the "Luck of the Irish" with McKay!

He wore this hat all day. I loved him in it. He wore it to the grocery store, to visit our Aunt Lori and to visit his Daddy at work!

Oh, and he wore it to the St. Patrick's Day Parade!! Yes, that's right folks, Twin Falls has a parade to celebrate.

Collin loved waving to everyone.

He didn't love when they would honk their horns...especially the big semi truck!

And, apparently, Jason liked taking pictures of all the "Irish hotties".

Just enjoying the parade

Collin thought he found a lucky clover!

I don't really know what to say about this entry except that it was the most exciting one. So exciting that we saw it twice. It not only started the parade but it also ended it!!
A double decker canoe band...does it get any better than that?!

Our clubhouse had a coloring contest, green cupcakes and green juice for everyone. They also had little gift bags for the kids!

That night we had our official "Green Dinner"

To end our night, we had green rice krispy treats with green sprinkles and...

graham crackers filled with green frosting & sprinkles!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
