hey franks YOU ARE an enemy to ANYONE with

a fucking brain

i'm sick of this shite. the earth is NOT 4 or 5 or 6,000 years old. there is NO proof YOUR god exists. the bible along with every other piece of 'holy, sacred (or whatever one wishes to call it) literature for all times and all religions was written BY man FOR man (for two reasons, fear of the unknown AND power). there are no demons coming from holes in the ground, there are no planets where men are gods and they get to have hundreds if not thousands of wives. there were no angels that flew down into sodom and gomorrah. there is a separation of church and state in america. remember that all you fuckwads. don't push your beliefs on me. i have my own. i read somewhere (or heard it, i'm not sure. i have forgotten who wrote it or said it, otherwise i'd give them direct credit. all i know is, it wasn't me) your religion is the one true one and everyone who believes something else is going to hell. well my religion is the one true one and everyone who believes something else is going to hell. well their religion is the one true one and everyone who believes something else is going to hell. SO we are ALL FUCKING GOING TO HELL it would seem. no? yes!

keep your fucking laws out of and off of MY body

Rep. Trent Franks: Obama is "Enemy of Humanity"
Posted by Brian Montopoli
Over the weekend, Republican Congressman Trent Franks said at the "How to Take Back America" conference that President Obama is an "enemy of humanity."

Today, a spokesman for Franks said the Arizona representative should have made clear that he was discussing the president's position on abortion. ......

.............Franks spokesman Bethany Haley said the congressman was referring to "unborn humanity," according to the Associated Press, and should have been more clear. She added that Franks was saying the president's abortion policies have "no place in any station of government," not that the president himself should have no place in the government.

She added to the AP that Franks "was just referring to the way President Obama has set himself up as the most pro-abortion president in America's history."

People for the American Way, a liberal advocacy group, recorded and disseminated Franks' comments.

In other Franks news, the congressman said in an interview with The Washington Independent's Dave Weigel that he believes President Obama is a natural-born citizen. Franks, who considered suing the president for proof of citizenship before the election, called for the president to release his long-form birth certificate to settle the matter...........

he's a fucking birther too. why am i NOT surprised?

Trent Franks: Obama Should ‘Settle’ Birth Conspiracy ‘Once and For All’

By David Weigel

Bethany Haley, a spokeswoman for the Republican congressman from Arizona, expands on the comments Franks made about President Obama’s citizenship at a town hall meeting this weekend. Franks was misquoted, says Haley, and only said that “he had, at one time, considered the possibility of filing a lawsuit back when the issue was first brought to his attention before and just after the election.”

But Haley also drags Franks deeper into the controversy:

[He] believes it’s ridiculous for the President of the United States, who ran on a platform of transparency and accountability, to dismiss so glibly the concerns of literally millions of Americans, and allow such a ridiculous debate to continue when it could so easily be settled once and for all..............

Law Requiring Ultrasounds for Abortions Is Struck Down
Oklahoma Judge Says Measure Violates State Constitution

Washington Post Staff Writer

An Oklahoma judge decided Tuesday that doctors do not need to perform ultrasounds and offer women detailed information about the tests before performing abortions, striking down the strictest such law in the country.

Oklahoma County District Judge Vicki L. Robertson ruled that the 2008 law, which included other abortion-related provisions, violated a state constitutional provision that requires laws to address only one subject............

speaking of domestic terrorists

how can we stop them when members of our own government don't have the stones to condemn them?

no one is saying you have to say you are pro-choice. we just want you to say you're AGAINST MURDERING DOCTORS

Violence-Abetting Anti-Choice Fanatics: Now in Congress

Posted by: Jill

This is pretty scary: An anonymous Republican senator has put a hold on a resolution condeming clinic violence. Apparently this guy can’t even bring himself to declare that killing doctors is wrong. The resolution in its entirety reads:

Whereas Dr. George Tiller of Wichita, Kansas was shot to death at church on Sunday, May 31;

Whereas there is a history of violence against providers of reproductive health care, as health care employees have suffered threats and hostility in order to provide crucial services to patients;

Whereas the threat or use of force or physical obstruction has been used to injure, intimidate, or interfere with individuals seeking to obtain or provide health care services; and

Whereas acts of violence are never an acceptable means of expression and always shall be condemned:..............

they murdered him at his church

at his church........

whether you think abortion is murder or you are pro-choice. whether you think dr george tiller was a saint or a sinner.................

YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE HIS LIFE. how can you say HE was a murderer then turn around and murder him? this is something i never understood. the clinic bombings, the shootings, the harm of some 'innocent' people (you know clinics have janitors and maintenance people who have to feed their families)

did your god tell you to murder? what kind of god do you believe in i wonder?

again, sometimes i wished i believed in hell just so these kinds of people would burn in it for eternity
Abortion Doctor Slain by Gunman in Kansas Church
By JOE STUMPE and MONICA DAVEY
WICHITA, Kan. — George Tiller, one of only a few doctors in the nation who performed abortions late in pregnancy, was shot to death here Sunday in the foyer of his longtime church as he handed out the church bulletin.

The authorities said they took a man into custody later in the day after pulling him over about 170 miles away on Interstate 35 near Kansas City. They said they expected to charge him with murder on Monday.

The Wichita police said there were several witnesses to the killing, but law enforcement officials would not say what had been said, if anything, inside the foyer. Officials offered little insight into the motive, saying that they believed it was “the act of an isolated individual” but that they were also looking into “his history, his family, his associates.......

Abortion doctor George Tiller is killed

The late-term abortion provider is shot at his church in Wichita, Kan. A suspect is arrested near Kansas City, police say. Tiller had been a victim of violence in the past.

Reporting from Los Angeles and Wichita, Kan. - For years, abortion foes tried to put Dr. George Tiller out of business. One of the few American physicians who performed late-term abortions, he was targeted by violent extremists as well as principled opponents.

In 1986, his clinic was bombed. In 1991, it was blockaded for six weeks. In 1993, he was shot in both arms. In March, Kansas prosecutors tried him on charges of breaking an abortion law; he was acquitted. In May, vandals cut wires to security cameras and made holes in the roof of Tiller's clinic, Women's Health Care Services, a fortified single-story building where abortion foes keep daily vigil..............

Bill O'Reilly's 'Tiller the Baby Killer' Gunned Down in Wichita Church
Blogged by Brad Friedman
ox 'News' host had long charged KS physician with 'operating a death mill', 'executing babies', carrying out 'slaughter' Update: Wingnut 'FreeRepublic' commenters celebrate Tiller murder..
A manhunt is underway at this hour for the murderer of Kansas physician GeorgeTiller who was shot and killed this morning when he entered his church in Wichita. [Update: Suspect now in custody.]

Tiller was better known to Fox "News" viewers as "Tiller the Baby Killer", as he's long been described by Bill O'Reilly who has spent years targeting Tiller on the most-watched show in cable news. O'Reilly has long demonized him with allegations of performing illegal late-term abortions, characterized as murder by O'Reilly and his guests.

Of course, it's no more O'Reilly's fault when a lunatic takes action to murder someone the Fox host has targeted for years on his popular television show, than it was when another lunatic gunned down church-goers in Tennessee last year claiming in his pre-murder "manifesto" that it was "a symbolic killing", and that he had "wanted to kill...every Democrat in the Senate & House, the 100 people in Bernard Goldberg's book." Goldberg is a regular featured guest on O'Reilly's show, and the author of 100 People Who Are Screwing Up America (And Al Franken is #37).........

Obama Overturns 'Mexico City Policy' Implemented by Reagan

U.S. Can Now Give Federal Funding To International Family Planning Groups That Provide Abortion Services

By JAKE TAPPER, SUNLEN MILLER and HUMA KHAN
President Obama signed an executive order today reversing the ban that prohibits funding to international family planning groups that provide abortions, as first reported by ABC News.

Under the hotly debated "Mexico City Policy," the U.S. government could not provide funding for family planning services to clinics or groups that offered abortion-related services overseas, even if funding for those activities came from non-government sources. It essentially barred recipients of U.S. foreign aid from promoting abortion as a method of family planning.

If organizations received government funding, they would "agree as a condition of their receipt of federal funds that such organizations would neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations."......

Obama Lifts Global Abortion 'Gag Rule'
Mexico City Policy Forbids Funding for International Groups That Perform or Provide Information About Abortion
By Rob Stein and Michael Shear
Washington Post Staff Writers
President Barack Obama today signed an executive order lifting a ban on U.S. funding for international family planning groups that perform abortions or provide counseling about the procedure.

The order rescinds the Mexico City Policy, also known as the "gag rule," which President Ronald Reagan originally instituted in 1984 and President Bill Clinton rescinded and President George W. Bush revived in 2001.

The decision had been eagerly expected by family planning groups, women's health advocates and others, who hoped it would restore millions of dollars of funding to programs providing health care, contraceptive services, HIV prevention and other care around the world. ..........

so ok, let me get this straight

it's ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT RIGHT TO BE PRO-CHOICE, but it's a-ok to send over 4,000 of our men and women to their deaths in iraq? (a country we invaded for NO reason. a country where tens of thousands have been killed by US and by each other. a country where over a million people have been displaced because of us. oh there so much more, but why continue?)

the catholic church should shut the fuck up about confessing if one voted for obama. the catholic church should worry about THEIR OWN as in SOME of their priests and the cover ups they're ALL responsible for (the all is those in charge, not necessarily the parishioners). the catholic church should worry about helping those in dire need of food and housing and shelter. the catholic church should start worrying about the way they treat women (did you know back in the day priests WERE allowed to marry? want to know why they can no longer? i'll tell you. because their wives and families inherited 'stuff' when the priests died. the catholic church didn't want to part with that 'stuff'. you think i'm making this up? i'm NOT). the catholic church should re-think their stance on birth control if they don't like people being pro choice. the catholic church should PREACH BIRTH CONTROL

OR

they should shut the fuck up

Priest urges confession for Obama supporters
Homily singles out president-elect's stance on abortion

McClatchy Tribune

MODESTO, Calif. - The Rev. Joseph Illo, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Modesto, Calif., has told parishioners in a homily and in a follow-up letter that if they voted for Barack Obama, they should consider going to confession because of the president-elect's position on abortion.

"If you are one of the 54 percent of Catholics who voted for a pro-abortion candidate, you were clear on his position and you knew the gravity of the question, I urge you to go to confession before receiving communion. Don't risk losing your state of grace by receiving sacrilegiously," Illo wrote in a letter dated Nov. 21.

The letter was sent to more than 15,000 members of the St. Joseph's parish. It is one of 34 parishes in the Stockton Diocese, which has more than 200,000 members in Stanislaus, San Joaquin and four other counties in California.

Though Obama's support of abortion rights angered many Catholics nationally during the campaign, Illo's letter is believed to be the first in Central California from a priest to his parishioners on the topic.

The Most Rev. Stephen Blaire, bishop of the Stockton Diocese, disagrees with Illo. He said Catholics should not feel compelled to disclose how they voted to their priest........

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

once again, i'll just state MY position here. i'm NOT pro abortion. never was, never will be. what i AM is pro COMPREHENSIVE sex education and pro contraception. oh, and i'm also pro CHOICE. if you don't want to have an abortion, i support your right to NOT have one. if you try to stop me or my sisters from having one IF we want one, (as big maybelle says) YOU BETTER WATCH OUT

anyway, i don't think this story is out of the ordinary at all. i think it happens ALL of the time
Pro-Life Congressional Candidate Drove Ex-GF to Abortion Clinic

Woman details abortion, relationship with "pro-life" congressional candidate

What a charmer. The Oregonian reports that Congressional candidate Mike Erickson fabricates a bunch of bull how he didn't know he gave his girlfriend money for an abortion, how she wasn't his girlfriend, and how he stopped seeing her after the "doctor's appointment" he drove her to. Lies, lies.

What's funniest to me is that if he came clean and said "I made a choice that hurt me and that's why I became pro-life," he'd sound reasonable. But instead he's chosen to act like his ex-girlfriend's experience is untrue when there's documented evidence she had the procedure and that he continued to see her afterwards..................

and here is what is happening

because no one has the stones to impeach king george and the big dick and the rest of their court. women are dying. women are NOT educated about contraceptives. women only get ONE SIDE - ABSTINANCE.

Are U.S. Policies Killing Women?
By Michele Kort, Ms. Magazine
Even as we commemorate the landmark 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade this year, U.S. reproductive-health policies are having an inordinately negative effect outside of our borders. They're causing women to die or be maimed. Harsh words, but true.
For the past 24 years, except during the Clinton presidency, U.S. administrations have maintained a global gag rule against providing counseling or referrals for abortions at U.S.-funded clinics in developing nations. It's a rule that only thwarts safe abortions, while reducing the already limited availability of other family-planning services. The global gag rule has also led to a pullback in overseas delivery of contraceptives, according to recent testimony by Rep. Nita M. Lowey (D-N.Y.) before the House Foreign Affairs Committee:
"U.S. shipments of contraceptives have ceased to 20 developing nations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. In some areas, the largest distribution centers for contraceptives have experienced decreased access for over 50 percent of the women they serve."
Women's health and rights activists in the U.S. have spent the past two decades fighting against such actions, and advocating on behalf of global reproductive health issues. But progress has come slowly. While maternal mortality has been declining at 1 percent annually, it needs to decline by 5.5 percent a year in order to be three-quarters reduced by 2015 (one of the United Nation's Millenium Development Goals). Sounds like a lot -- but it would require just about $6.1 billion more in annual funding -- the price of three weeks of the Iraq war -- to achieve that goal. Without that commitment, more than 500,000 women will still die annually from childbirth and its complications, with an estimated 70,000 of those deaths due to unsafe abortions..........

i am NOT pro-abortion

i never have been and i never will be. what i AM is - PRO SEX EDUCATION. PRO BIRTH CONTROL. PRO CHOICE.

it's MY body. it's MY choice

The LA Times offers up an absolutely infuriating profile of "post-abortive men"—which, despite what the name suggests, are not men who were born after being aborted, but MRAs who are getting involved in the anti-choice movement, via the bullshit "post-abortion syndrome" fallacy, by whining about how men are traumatized by abortions, too—which, naturally, means that women shouldn't be allowed to have them.
I could take you point-by-point through this travesty, but one dude's story pretty much sums up the whole movement:
Chris Aubert, a Houston lawyer, felt only indifference in 1985 when a girlfriend told him she was pregnant and planned on an abortion. When she asked if he wanted to come to the clinic, he said he couldn't; he played softball on Saturdays. He stuck a check for $200 in her door and never talked to her again.
Aubert, 50, was equally untroubled when another girlfriend had an abortion in 1991. "It was a complete irrelevancy," he said. But years later, Aubert felt a rising sense of unease. He and his wife were cooing at an ultrasound of their first baby when it struck him -- "from the depths of my belly," he said -- that abortion was wrong.
Yep. It struck him that abortion was wrong. Not his total fucking indifference to the women he impregnated getting abortions, an appalling lack of empathy which any rational person would conclude had to have been indicative of a larger emotional detachment from women with whom he was intimate—that was cool. It was just the women getting the abortions that was the problem. And of course his near-sociopathic apathy toward them and their shared circumstance while pregnant with his spawn obviously had nothing to do with their getting abortions in the first place. Heavens, no. Everyone knows women long to have babies with emotionally unavailable wankstains who slip abortion money under the door. .........

keep your laws off of MY body
