November 5th....

                           Also known as Guy Fawkes day....
               
You may have seen the "V is for Vengeance" Film... That was a film where the main character thought of Guy Fawkes as a "Hero"... though to most people Guy Fawkes was a "Villain"....
... in real life in England , back in 1605, A small group of men who were not very pleased with the British Government ... plotted their attack...
They prepared to blow up the center of Government ... "Parliament" ... the governing seat of this world power... with kegs of gun-powder stashed beneath "Parliament"  they waited... the guards found and captured Guy Fawkes ... he was tried and found guilty of Treason and executed....

To some , his actions were that of a heroic figure , taking on the all powerful government....
             thus he has become a "symbol" of standing up to the Government...

                           A cool bit of background on this event of November 5th of 1605....
But to most he was a "Terrorist of the highest order".... and think of him as a despicable Villain....
whether you celebrate him for his actions... or celebrate his death, have a great evening.... many in the UK will celebrate with fireworks and burn "effigies" of Guy Fawkes in honor of the Government's victory over these conspirators....

                    In England, back in 1605, something "Bad" almost occurred.....
A small group of men, all of whom were "fed up" with the British Government, decided to do "something" about it...... They tried to blow up Parliament their political "center" of this world power.... Of these men , they captured Guy Fawkes one of the conspirators .....

                        He was found Guilty of "high treason" and was executed.....
A "hero" to some (for standing up to the "oppressive Government System") .... but to most his actions were (and are,) that he was a vile terrorist of the highest order.....
                 Tonight there will be bonfires and fireworks to celebrate the day of his death.....
 
 
in more recent times the film "V for Vendetta" they made a more "iconic" image of this infamous man....

                                 Bonfires and fireworks in the UK.....
    All because of a "Treason" plot back in 1605 ..... The attempt to blow up Parliament....!!!
And this man ( one of the conspirators in this plot) , Guy Fawkes.....

This man Guy Fawkes was deemed so vile in his actions that they made a national holiday to celebrate his demise... with bonfires and fireworks....
He is celebrated by others and given praise as someone who stood up against oppressive government systems everywhere.....!!!! Fiend or "hero" all in how you view his actions.... Whether you celebrate his defeat or the ideals that he stood for.... Have yourself a little fire outside this evening to celebrate this important day.....
