V'day @ Mizi Bistro, Penang

Hello hello.

Berada di Penang for the weekend, then rasa macam nak makan western food,

konon-konon nak sambut v'day sekali lah.

so singgah mizi bistro and memang full house, tapi nasib baik,

tunggu dalam 5min je, ade couple yang dah siap makan.

so dapat lah table, kat smoking area.

i pilih set meal for rm25,

main course + drinks + soup + free flow dessert.

and my partner, ambil ala carte,

one appetizer and main course.

tapi i mind you,

appetizer dia in a very big potion.

tak larat nak makan T____T

Mushroom soup + butter + bread.

kalau datang mizi bistro, wajib try mushroom soup dia.

sangat sedap!

homemade mushroom soup, very thick and creamy.
blended with oyster mushroom, black mushroom, shitake, button mushroom.

pasta with olive oil, seafood and garlic.

lebih kurang rasa aglio olio. tapi what i love from this meal,

seafood dia, ade shrimp, fish, mussel, squids.

semua fresh.

with cherry tomatoes and chillies

sangat flavourful.

konon-konon appetizer.

cakap je appetizer tapi portion dia sangat besar.

tapi i love the cream sauce and baked with cheese.

dalam rolls tu, ada seafood and mushroom.

awal-awal makan rasa sangat sedap.

tapi lama-lama muak sikit sebab very cheesy.

Fillet of fish 'Lady Astor'

i love the sauce tapi tak suka bile fish tu di balut dengan telur.

rasanya lagi sedap kalau grill macam biasa.

tapi dory fish yang diorang guna sangat fresh.

Free flow ice cream for the dessert tapi tak larat dah nak makan.

sangat full!

incld orange juice and mineral water.

even fullhouse tapi service dia sangat cepat. dalam 15min dah sampai food.

Mizi Bistro @ New World Park ( 3rd Revisit)

there was one night, my prac mates and i decided to go out for dinner.

we hardly spend time together since we had different working hours.

so i suggested that we go to mizi bistro.

reasonable price and yummy food,

plus cozy environment.

pumpkin soup.

taste abit sweet and delicious.

but i prefer their mushroom soup.

Fish Cordon Bleu.
(normally we found chicken cordon bleu, but this time they replace it with fish)
taste good too.



Chicken Normandy
love the chicken with the sauce.
but it had apple crumbled stuffing in it which
taste sweet with a dash of cinnamon,
erm din mix well i guess.




next the dessert :)

for just rm21.50 per pax,

we get one soup + bread,

one main course,

one drink,

and free flow dessert (ice cream)

so cheap!

definitely fell for mizi's food.

this is my 3rd visit this month :D

the cream sauce taste just like Chilis mashed potato cream sauce :)
thats why i love it.



Fish Au Gratin
just like steamed fish my dream.
the differences are it was lightly fried and with cheese on top.
i think this one taste better :)

last weekend, i went out for lunch with bestie, bushra.

i suggested for us to go to Mizi Bistro.

went there for the first time with aida. am very satisfied with their food and services :)

we both decided to hv mushroom soup.

they are so nyummy
not ur typical mushroom soup.

one of the best mushroom soup i ever taste so far :D

pumpkin soup
mushroom soup
cream of chicken soup
and
baked french onion soup


this is bushra's meal
Chicken Maryland Mizi Style

served with wedges, tempura vegetables
the chicken taste good but din mix well with the sweet sour sauce provided.
p/s: she requested chili sauce after that :P

this is my course meal.
supreme chicken with peppercorn sauce
and i LOVE them!
the grilled chicken blend well with the sauce,
so yummy,
the chicken breasts were perfect, not too dry.

now come the dessert time.

yeay!

and we can decorate it ourselves!
