Emily Ramsbottom was the daughter of James Ramsbottom.2 She married Colonel Hon. Edward Bootle-Wilbraham, son of Edward Bootle-Wilbraham, 1st Baron Skelmersdale and Mary Elizabeth Taylor, on 8 July 1841.1 She died on 20 December 1899.1

Arthur George Bootle-Wilbraham, 5th Baron Skelmersdale was born on 21 May 1876.1 He was the son of Colonel Arthur Bootle-Wilbraham and Elizabeth Jane Jardine.2 He died on 9 February 1969 at age 92, unmarried.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Freiburg School of Mines, Freiburg, Germany.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers (SR.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of First World War in the where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Skelmersdale, of Skelmersdale, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1828] on 6 February 1930.1
