Time flies...

Im sitting here thinking about the last 6 years of my life, and all that has happened, and it kind of blows me away at how fast time flies. I know I say that alot, but it truely does for me. The past six years I have met my husband, got married, had Lilee, was able to quit my job, be a stay at home mom and wife (which I wouldn't trade for the world) Im able to do hair at home, we bought our first home over four years ago, and now we are having our second child. Alot more has happened in this time, but the basics are covered. Im so grateful for everything I have in my life. A hard working husband who supports me unconditionally, who does his best to give our family the things that it needs. We have a nice home, running vehicles, "almost" two beautiful children, and it might not always be easy, but it's for sure worth it. I wouldn't trade anything in the world for being able to stay at home with my children right now, Im so lucky to be able to have the opportunity. Right now, my heart is full, as I think about how truely blessed my little family is, even though somedays we take it for granted. Thank you Preston for all you do for us, I appreciate you more than you will ever know. We Love you!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Yesterday we went and saw Santa, and boy was Lilee EXCITED! She has cried her eyes out every year, but this year she was on cloud 9! She told him she wanted a doll house and crayons! hehehehe. It was so cute. This picture was taken with my cell phone of the actual santa picture, so the quality really sucks, but wanted to post it anyway! It was sooooo cute!

Oh Christmas Tree....

I decided to put my christmas tree up alittle early because my cousin took Lilee to her house in vernal for a few days...so I decided while I didn't my little "helper" I would hurry and do it! It turned out cute! Here's a peek.

Leaves are falling....

Fall is my favorite time of year, and we personally have only one tree in our yard, that isn't very big yet. But we sure have a TON of leaves to clean up every year from the neighbors....and boy is it a PAIN! The only good thing about it is that Lilee thinks they are sooo NEAT! Anyways- here's a few pictures I captured of her playing in them!

Halloween Happenings....

Mindy and I went to St.George this weekend, and went and saw Thriller! It was a ton of fun, and it was a great weekend to just not have alot to do, and be able to just hang out! A great girlfriend getaway! Anyway- no matter how many times you've been to thriller, those dang zombies are still CREEPY! This one climbed on my lap, and was sorta scary! = /

And then, when I got home, Lilee had to show me her halloween costume that my step mom bought for her, accompanied by her cute mermaid wig we got for her! hehehhe. Just alittle sneak peek! = )

picking a name.....

So, in May there was a people magazine out, and it had a bunch of celebrity babies in it, and this little girl was one of them...her name is Ever,and I absolutely fell in love with the name when I saw it! I really want to name my little girl Ever, and Preston is actually starting to like it, but it's such a different name, that it has so many different reactions when I say it to people. Most people like it, but I admit, it's different and takes some time to grow on you. I am wanting to name her Ever, but would love some suggestions, because it's not set in stone, and Im the type that wants to know RIGHT NOW what my babies name is! hehehehe. So if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear some!

Time flies....

I haven't posted about this, because Im not sure what to say...Two days ago on September 13th, was three months since my mom has passed away. I was going to make a post then, but it's one of those things you don't really know how to write what you are feeling. But I just wanted to say, the last three months have been bitter sweet. My mom was very sick, and I was so grateful for the time we had to spend together, but when the moment came, that was her last, there was nothing I could do to make her better. I miss her so much, sometimes I go to pick up the phone to call her, and then I realize I can no longer do that. It has been a strange feeling to not have a mom to talk to everyday. I just wanted to post something on here, because I never have, and I feel like I've just avoided the subject for three months now. I love you mom, and we all miss you so much!

My puppies are officially sold! Im excited, but sad too. So next week at this time, I will be puppyless....

and.......

WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER GIRL! Im really excited, because I wanted Lilee to have a sister somewhat close in age, but I also really wanted a boy, and so did preston. But as long as it's healthy, that is all that matters! Lilee knew all along it was a sister, she's pretty excited.

How can one resist?

Puppies for SALE! I have two pure white 4 week old schnoodles for sale, looking for a home in two weeks. If anyone is interested or know of anyone in the market for a cute, lovable, cuddly puppy let me know!

We don't know when to stop....

Yesterday, Mindy and I with the help of her mom bottled apple sauce and apple pie filling from 7 in the morning, until about 330.....we made 64 pints of apple sauce, and 38 quarts of pie filling....all with the help of the RS pres. Shanna Horners help for donating us a TON of apples from their apple trees! THANKS! We had oodles of apples, and made a ton of bottles, but boy am I tired. Then, later last night, mindy and I got a BRILIANT idea to go pick some choke cherries, and make some syrup, since we thought we were Betty Crocker and all! So needless to say we were bottling syrup until midnight last nigh! WE SIMPLY JUST DONT KNOW WHEN TO STOP! WE ARE NUTS MIND! My body truely aches! here are a few pics of our eventful day! Enjoy!!!

So it's official....hopefully. yes, I am pregnant! TOTALLY on accident, but very gratful to be almost 13 weeks, instead of still planning.....= ) It's due Feb. 8th, and I will be finding out what Im having in almost 3 weeks! I can't wait! Lilee thinks it's a baby sister, so we will see...I wouldn't mind another girl, because Lilee is so much fun, and then she would have a sister, but Preston really wants a boy, and then I could maybe be done having kids. Anyways- I've waited this long to announce it, because I've have a miscarriage in the past, and it really sucks to have to say, just kidding, not any more. So hopefully, with our fingers crossed, all will go well! =)

PURE AWESOMENESS!

Wow, it's been a really long long long time since I have blogged. Since my mom was sick, it has been really hard to get back in the swing of things. I love blogging, and now that I have some cool things to blog about, hopefully I will be back in BUSINESS! = )

My sister in law Crystal came from Colorado yesterday, and a girl she knew had 3 tickets to Kenny Chesney she wasn't going to use, so we got get them from her, and Crystal, Mindy and myself went. We had back row seats, literally....and about an hour before Kenny was about to come on stage, and guy came and picked us to go to the SANDBAR!!! FOR FREE!! WOOO WHOOOO!! The sand bar tickets were better than front row seats, we literally were right next to the stage, and he was right in front our faces, most of the time! It was the coolest, luckiest thing that has EVER happened to me! It was so fun, thanks for inviting me Crystal, your the BEST! It was freakin awesome! =) We were like giddy 12 year olds all over again. Of course, the only camera's we had that had batteries were our cell phones, and as soon as I figure out how to up load my pictures, I will!

Last week we were getting ready for church, and when Preston got back from his early morning meeting, Lilee said to him " Aren't I beautiful Dad!?!?!" While she was twirling in her pretty dress.....
I love this little girl so much! She makes me smile and laugh every single day, she's my "BEST FRIEND"....she thinks so, and I KNOW so!

I know Im a lame-o blogger these days, but I just wanted to say that this guy is so cute, and so charming, and so talented, and Mindy, Melissa and I watched the Finale the other night, and it was soo much fun! Im so glad that Kris WON. I love Adam too, but Kris is more Idol style! LOVE him! Thanks girls for a great night!

earrings anyone?

So today Lilee came to me crying saying that she had an earring in her ear....which she clearly didn't, because her ears are not pierced. As I look alittle closer, I see a scrappbooking "brad" stuck in her ear. My cousin Lori and I tried to get it out with a pair tweezers....but...no dice. So we made her a doctors appointmen, and they tried to irrigate it with water to wash it out, but once again....no dice....The whole time, waiting an hour at the doctor, an hour trying to get it out, she was one pooped out little girl. So we finally had to take her to the ER and an hour of waiting, and about 30 minutes of screaming, they finally pulled the little blue sharp object out of her little ear. She was so sad. Luckily the sharp pointy ends were sticking outward, so they could grab on the ends and pull it out. It would have been really scary to have the sharp end pointing toward her ear drum....anyways- what a long day, Im glad it's almost over!

This post is for my mom.

My mom was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a cancer of the blood and bones) this past week, and I just wanted to tell her how much I love her, and she's in my prayers. Im so grateful she moved here when she did, so we could spend some good time together. We love you mom.

Lilees Birthday, and Easter!

Lilee's birthday was today, but we celebrated it yesterday!! I can't believe that our little girl is 3 years old. It is so weird, it seems like she was just born not that long ago. It's crazy how fast time flies, and how fast they grow up. Anyways- here's a few pics!

Disney Land!

I took my mom and Lilee to disneyland this last week for my birthday, and it was so much fun! It was CRAZY busy, and REALLY hott, but it was a good time. Here's a few pics, Lilee doesn't like her picture taken, so theres not too many pics!

Okay, my life is not normal. A human being should not be this busy!! Anyways- I really suck at blogging, and its not really fun, when no one ever leaves comments! hehehe. j/k....that really isn't a ploy to get someone to leave me one! lol. Anyways- I just have to write about this song on my playlist. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AMERICAN IDOL this season! I wasn't really that into the whole Adam Lambert thing, but holy freaking cow, he did so dang good this week. I can't get this song out of my head, I love it! Im so glad they had it on the playlist! YES, CALL ME OBSESSED!

and p.s. I can't get enough of my new twilight movie either!!! YUM-O....I HEART Edward!!

We went to Costco the other day and Lilee spotted this kite! We got it for her, and yesterday it was windy enough to fly it. Here are few pics from this "short" adventure. She got bored really quick! p.s. don't mind her messy face, we didn't realize it was dirty until now! hehehe
