The Tropical Acquarium Experiment continues...
Helena and I started a new hobby several weeks ago. We bought a tropical fish set. Several weeks and several unfortunate toilet flushes later, we seem to have found a balance. The fish have begun to flourish. Our newest addition can be seen here. He is a blue-striped cichlid (sick-lid). In addition to the blue cichlid, there is one yellow-jack cichlid, two swordtails (one red & one orange), one lace catfish, one limporous faschiatus, three bala sharks, three crabs, seven small striped danios, and a feeder fish that no one will eat. In memory of the fish that are no longer with us, I will honor their memory by attempting to list them: two lace catfish, two black fin sharks, one yellow cichlid, a magic blue snail, a dwarf frog, one black convict (who didn't die but was much too aggressive so back to the store he went) and most notably, an expensive electric, black dog-faced knife. He was just too slow for the crabs to leave alone. Many ghost shrimp have also been eaten while we're away on weekends. They're fun to watch while they last.

Fishing in the Desert...
A few weeks ago Bobby and I decided to try our hand at fishing here in Utah. We drove south to a small lake outside of Payson that supposedly was stocked with fish--either it wasn't, or the fish were just too cold to think about food... It was a lot of fun though. By the next week the ice on Utah Lake had melted and we wound up going there instead. We are determined to find fish!
READ ME: Welcome Family & Friends!!!
Hi and welcome to our blog! For those we haven't been in close contact with, we have moved again! In Sept. of 2007 we moved from our favorite place of all time--Washington, DC. We are now living in Orem and attending BYU (again)--trying to graduate as quickly as possible. When we're finished with school we will most definitely be headed back east as we settle into a more permanent situation. For now though, we are enjoying the family we have nearby and the company of old friends. We hope everyone is well and that you enjoy our blog! Check back often as our posts will be frequent.
