A Treasure Box with a Card...

What a long time it has been, more than 9 weeks - I'm sorry.

A lot has been going on, I'm trying to get back to my crafting routine, so today I can show you a Card I made as a request for a girl at work.

She's giving away a box filled with sand and money for a wedding and she asked me to make a Card for the inside of the box (to cover the inside of the lid).

So here is what i made...

Stampin'UP! Workshop

Happy Sunday y'all!

I've been waiting to finally upload this post - I've held a Stampin'UP! workshop today and wanted to show you the projects I've made for the girls. But I had to keep them a secret of course =)

But now it's all done and you get to see the give-aways I made and the projects (the next days you'll get a more detailed look on all the projects with the measurements and needed instructions so that everyone can recreate these cards I made.)

Einen schönen Sonntag euch allen!

Ich hab so lange gewartet, diesen Post zu veröffentlichen - heute hatte ich einen Stampin'UP! workshop und ich wollte euch schon so lange die Projekte zeigen, die ich für die Mädels vorbereitet hatte. Aber das musste bis heute noch ein Geheimnis bleiben =)

Jetzt ist alles geschafft und ihr bekommt die Mitbringsel und die Karten zu sehen (in den nächsten Tagen werde detaillierte Posts schreiben, mit genauen Anleitungen, wenn nötig, damit jeder die Karten nachbasteln kann.)

Wedding favour box

Remember, when I showed you how to make this lil' box ? 

I made one which is for a wedding gift, so I chose to use some lace, pearls and the bride's color Purple.

Könnt ihr euch noch erinnern, wie ich euch gezeigt habe, wie man diese kleine Box macht?

Die hier habe ich für ein Hochzeitsgeschenk gemacht, also dürfen Spitze, Perlchen und die Farbe der Braut - Lila - nicht fehlen.

"Ribbon" Challenge @ Creative Card Crew

This week was so great for me - my Cameo just had to do some work for me, so I decided not to use any stamped/printed image on this week's Challenge "Ribbon" at the Creative Card Crew Challengeblog.

Diese Woche war so toll für mich - meine Cameo musste einfach etwas Arbeit für mich erledigen, also habe ich entschieden, kein gestempeltes oder gedrucktes Bild für die Challenge "Ribbon" diese Woche zu verwenden beim Creative Card Crew Challengeblog.

I made a Card and added some ribbon as headbands plus I made a little favour box. I just fell in love with those female silhouettes.

Ich habe diese Karte gemacht, und Ribbon als Haarbänder verwendet und eine kleine Geschenkbox. Ich hab mich einfach in diese weiblichen Silhouetten verliebt.

HOW TO - Covered cans for presents

Hello and Welcome everyone :) Today I have got another tutorial for you!

(I've seen this somewhere else, but I can't remember where)

Hallo und Herzlich Willkommen :) Heute habe ich eine neue Anleitung für euch!

(Ich hab das selbst irgendwo mal gesehen, aber fragt mich nicht, wo)

Material:

empty/clean can - opened at the BOTTOM / eine leere/saubere Dose - am BODEN geöffnet

a strip of DSP cut down to the width/heigh of the can with strong sticky tape /

einen Streifen DSP passend zur Größe/Höhe der Dose mit starkem Klebeband

First, what you want to do is find the rebate of the can and use this for lining up your DSP for wrapping it around the can - then wrap :)

Als erstes sucht ihr euch die Falz der Dose, um daran das DSP zum Umwickeln auszurichten - dann wickeln :)

Next I searched for a nesti that covered the can's top (leave a bit of space all around the top as you need some space when opening the can - don't make it impossible to open your present box afterwards) and...

Als nächstes habe ich mir eine Nesti gesucht, die den Deckel der Dose bedeckt (etwas Platz sollte rundrum frei bleiben, da ihr ein klein wenig freien Raum beim Öffnen der Dose braucht - achtet darauf, dass es nicht unmöglich wird, eure Geschenkbox später zu öffnen) und...

find some paper that matches your DSP and cut two pieces of CS - stick those together.

sucht euch Papier, dass zum DSP passt und schneidet dann zwei Stücke aus dem CS - klebt diese zusammen.

Mark the opening thing on the circles and cut this part - then slide the CS UNDER this "ring" and stick it onto the can.

Markiert euch das Teil zum Öffnen und schneidet diesen Teil aus - dann schiebt ihr den CS UNTER diesen "Ring" und klebt ihn auf die Dose.

Last you want to fill the box and stick the bottom part back on - if you want to decorate your box - do that BEFORE closing it!

Zum Schluss müsst ihr die Dose noch füllen und den Boden wieder ankleben - wenn ihr die Box weiter dekorieren wollt, solltet ihr das machen BEVOR ihr die Box verschließt!

Now embellies - I'm using flowers I cut from matching CS and wooden butterflies that have been distressed around the edges, some ribbon, some swirls and some tiny pearls...

Nun zu den Verzierungen - Ich verwende Blumen, ausgeschnitten aus passendem CS und hölzerne Schmetterlinge, die rindrum distressed wurden, ein Bändchen, Schnörkel und ein paar kleine Perlchen...

Tadaaaa, yummieyummie :)

You're a crafty girl, right?

Today my workmate came up to me and said "You're a crafty girl - could you make us a little something?" Of course I agreed and what she wanted me to do is this - a box where we can put sugar bags and other stuff to serve coffee. So some pieces of grey board, glue, and structured paper/cardstock and a white ribbon - this is the finished box.

Heute hat eine Kollegin zu mir gesagt "Du bastelst doch - könntest du uns nicht eine Kleinigkeit machen?" Natürlich habe ich zugestimmt und folgendes wollte sie, das ich mache - eine Box, in die wir Zuckersäckchen, kleine Sahnedöschen und anderen Krimskrams reintun können, wenn wir Kaffee servieren. Nach ein paar Teilen Graupappe, Kleber, strukturierten Papier/Karton und weißem Band - ist das die fertige Box.

Explosion-Box

A friend's birthday is coming up and therefore I made this Explosion-Box. It measures 4x4x4in - so I used a 12x12in cardstock. The red layer inside the box measures 11,75x11,75in. Both layers (black and red) are scored at 4in from the outside measured in. The top part is 7,25x7,25 inches scored at 1 inch on each side, decorated with scraps that were left over when cutting the box and brads. The Design-Paper on the black CS has this fluffy black flowers that feel like felt, love those. Finally I added a ribbon to tie everything shut.

Der Geburtstag einer Freundin steht vor der Tür und deswegen habe ich diese Explosion-Box gebastelt. Sie misst ca. 10x10x10cm - ich habe also 30x30cm Cardstock verwendet. Die rote Lage im Inneren der Box misst 29x29cm. Beide Lagen (schwarz und rot) sind bei 10cm von außen gemessen gefalzt. Der Decken misst 10,5x10,5cm gefalzt bei 2,5cm auf allen Seiten, dekoriert mit Resten, die beim Schneiden der Box übrig geblieben sind, und Brads. Das Design-Papier auf dem schwarzen Karton hat diese schwarzen fluffigen Blumen, die sich nach Filz anfühlen, ich finde die wahnsinnig toll. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein Band genommen, um die Box zu verschließen.
