Gravelord Spotlight: Blautaric

A Kingdom Devoured

Blautaric was once Lord Borin Vorrinius, one of the ruling nobles of Somermist during the twilight of the Third Age. When the Granum River withered and famine spread through the realm, Borin did not suffer with his people. His granaries remained full, his vaults grew heavier, and every starving household became another chance to tighten his grip.

His greed eventually found a teacher in Maelithar, a dark sorceress who offered him immortality and dominion through necromancy and flesh-weaving. Borin accepted, and the bargain was paid for in the blood of the people he had already bled dry. What came out of that ritual was no longer a lord, but Blautaric: a rotting titan of hunger, wealth, and undeath.

He did not stop with survival. Blautaric turned his own kingdom into a feast. The dead rose under his command, the noble houses of Somermist fell, and even High King Eadred Eldengard could not stop him. Eadred’s defeat became one of Blautaric’s cruelest trophies, his ruined body reshaped into part of the monstrous Necrosteed the Warlord would one day ride into battle.

Blautaric is greed given a corpse’s body. He consumes life, land, loyalty, and history itself, turning everything he takes into another piece of his dead empire.

Choose Your Faction

The endless forest of the Wyldwood is filled with untold creatures, prehistoric monsters and budding tribes. We have picked five factions to introduce for the launch of the game on September 15th, but there are many more to come in the future.

Each faction has its own champions, unique Command cards, and a completely different approach to battle. Whether you want to strike from the shadows, charge headlong into combat, control the battlefield, or simply refuse to die, there’s a faction for you.

NEW ARMY: Para Bellum Games Conquest: First Blood: City States - Totally Pawsome

Just to prove that we're putting our money where our mouth is, here's the evidence that we have picked up our beginner force for Para Bellum Games Conquest: First Blood Army.  In the picture you can see that we have our Warband, our Reinforcements and of course Persenia the Gorgon.  This means that our forces to date are:

NEWS: Cyberpunk TCG Prepares for Beta Events - Weird Co

WeirdCo's Cyberpunk TCG has this week released the whole rule set for the Beta Events just in time for the local games (more of which have been added to the Melee page so you can easily find out if any are being run in your area.

In addition to this, fullfilment is in hand and wave one will begin soon.  Thats right Starter Decks and Beta Booster boxes are shipping to regional distribution centres and they’ll be making their way out into the wilds during the first few weeks of September.

Every faction has new tools for the Relic hunt. Each Reinforcement Pack expands one faction with fixed content, including new units, spells, an item, new tactical options, and STL miniatures for 3D printing.

Choose the pack that matches the faction you already command and bring new decisions to your warband. To play a Reinforcement Pack, pair it with a Seeker Deck or Starter Box from the same faction.

Standee Packs

Each Reinforcement Standee Pack includes six punchboard standees and six plastic bases corresponding to the units from one faction’s Reinforcement Pack. They offer a physical alternative for players who do not have access to a 3D printer.

Terrain Sets

The new Punchboard Terrain Set brings that same accessibility to the battlefield itself. Seven punchboards contain sixteen terrain pieces across four environments: the Astarian Pathways, Noxious Fleshgardens, Starcast Halls, and Deathshroud Mire.
