Random Toy Sightings 2018

I've been collecting random toy sightings at the local park over the past few months and thought it was time to share a few again.  Enjoy! 😃

Random Toy Sightings: The Remains of a Dozen Easter Parties

When I took my dog out on Monday morning, I found a park full of leftover plastic eggs and bunnies that were left behind by the Easter crowds. I thought I'd share a few photos of the festive detritus.

The Random Green Army Man

In what could be a sequel to The Lonely Doll Shoe, on today's morning dog walk we had another surprise toy encounter: this time a green plastic army man figure standing atop the dog bag dispenser.
The army man on his throne.

I wondered how he got here. Did a child leave him behind on the ground where he was discovered and then put on top of the box so that if the owner returned they'd find him more easily? Was some other toy blogger doing a photoshoot and accidentally left one of their subjects behind? Is he part of someone's scavenger hunt? Was there an artist hiding in the bushes taking photos of the people who stopped to look at him?

The Lonely Doll Shoe

As I was walking the dog this morning, I came across a bright green doll shoe at the entrance of the golf course we were passing.  I didn't recognize it (but maybe one of you will?), but it was too striking of a contrast against the grey clouds of this rainy morning to not take a picture of.
