A BIG THANK YOU TO MY PRIM FAMILY!

Hi My Prim family, I first have to say THANK YOU TO ALL  that left me sweet comments for my husband. Saying thank you is just NOT enough to tell you how much it meant to me for each and everyone of you that were praying for my husband.
I know now who are my TRUE, loving ,caring and supportive friends are because the ones that left a comment are the ones that I was hoping would pray for my hubby. I love each and everyone of you for having my back.
For the up date......my hubby is HOME,I picked him up today and he is sleeping!!!!!!!! He is very weak but HOME! The doctors had to stop his heart and re-start it and that my friends was the hardest thing to do was sit in the waiting room and wait for the doctor to come out and say he is OKAY, after that I did break down and cry. I don't have family except our 2 amazing sons so I felt so alone but I know I really wasn't alone the Lord was right there with hubby and I. It would have been nice to have outside family to lean on but you girls had my back and for that I am truly blessed to call you all friends/sisters.
Now Ken needs to take the 2 different heart medications and take it easy and NO STRESS! I will MAKE SURE HE STAYS STRESS FREE!

Please keep him in your prayers that this new medication will work and that he doesn't have to go through this again because next time they will not have to stop my heart because it will stop on its own.
I will be posting soon and hubby and I have bought ALOT OF WONDERFUL GOODIES for my shop, The shop will be filled up very soon.
Big hugs and all my love to each and everyone of you,
Tricia xoxoxoxo

PRAYERS NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi my Prims,
It was been a long time but it has been very busy here at the homestead. Our oldest son graduated college this pass Sunday with a 3.84 average. We are so PROUD of him. He started working for Jaguar now. We are going to put his picture and write up of him in the newspaper so family that doesn't know will see.

The main reason I am posting is that Mr.Hillcrest is going into the hospital tomorrow. He has A FIB ( his heart) so they have to do some things so I will be very busy and I ask if you all could keep my husband in your prayers. I am very nervous but I won't let him see that or know because then he will worry about me but I will be there at his side. The doctors said he will be in the hospital for 4 to 5 days.
Here is the love of my life. Thank you all for your support and love at this time.
Prim Blessings,
Tricia

Merry Christmas! Christmas decorating!

Hi my Prims,
I wanted to share some of my Christmas decorating with you all.
Here we go, First I am going to start with the kitchen,

Here is our Christmas village. I did do close ups on the village.

Okay those were the close ups of the village. On to the kitchen.

Okay as you can tell this is my center piece for our prim/colonial kitchen. I love the small sled I found years ago and my bread board.

I forgot this picture is a close shot of my dry sink. My little prim tree with my prim lights.

Here it is all together. I really loved how it came out this year.

Close up of my bread rack that my husband made me and the prim little stockings on the string.
I think they are darn cute.

Here are some pictures over my sink. I changed it up this year.

Now here is what my stove board looks like and the stove board was made by my sis/friend who is very talented in everything she does. Her name is Jen The country mouse. Jen made this stove
board for me years and years ago. I LOVE it. It was my Birthday gift with a lot more goodies mostly made by her and that is priceless as our friendship/sisterhood is.
With that said here are some pictures.....

Jen also made me that prim adorable deer.

I did use a real prim candle just for the pic., I use my prim battery candle. This would cause a problem but the prim candle that uses batteries look just like a prim light.

The above picture is a picture from our hallway, my husband put a window in the hallway so you could look into my prim room also used as my office and my make up room, but I didn't take a pic. of that.

Here we go into the living room.

My loving, awesome husband ordered this red ware plate which he had made for me(well both of us) a few years ago. I keep that out all year with all of my red ware collection.

We are not done yet. I made prim stockings many, many yrs. ago and we need to put those up and I think after this blog post my hubby will be doing that.
I will show them to you when I do another post.

We have had this manger for 20 years. We love our manger and this is why we celebrate Christmas.

I forgot a few more pictures of the kitchen.

I love this jar. One reason why is because I made it and I love the old fashion Santa.

My hubby also made me this prim cabinet. I love it!
So there you go some Christmas pictures of our homestead. I am stringing popcorn & cranberries so when our Christmas tree is done I will do a blog post of that and our stockings I made years ago.
I hope everyone is doing well and you all are enjoying the holidays.
Christmas Blessings,
Tricia XO

It's Fall Time Ya'll!!

Hi my Prims,
Well, I love this time of year. It is cool and I really enjoy that.
I have been very busy. Our oldest is back at college(his last year) and our youngest is working and he will be going to Empire beauty school starting in Feb. He loves to cut hair and do peoples make up and he wants to one day open his own salon.......Amen. He is becoming his own person.
We are so proud of our sons.

Well, I did do some decorating for fall. Here are some pics.

Outside looking in................................

I hope you all enjoyed some fall decorating that I have done.

I really enjoy the fall, apple picking, making the first homemade apple pie, hay rides, taking a fall drive with my husband and seeing the leaves change color, starting our first fire of the year, making soups and stews, cool crisp nights, wearing my pink fuzzy slippers, having hot cider and tea and baking.

Prim Blessings,
