Basket Case Blog Hop

Welcome to the Basketcase blog hop hosted by the incredibly craftily talented Rhonda of Scrap Happens.  If you haven't visited Rhonda's site before you can not miss spending some time perousing her blog. She has some of the most incredible mini albums and other craft projects to be found.  I strongle suggest you go back and visit her after you finish this hop.

If you didn't start the hop from the beginning do so from here: Scrap happens.

This is my basket:

The fence was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up, I manipulated it some with my Gypsy so it would be taller but not longer. I pop dotted it so the little lamb, which was cut from Easter 2010 and the grass, cut from Pantin Schoolbook, would fit behind it.  All the flowers were cut from Walk in My Garden.  I chalked the edges of the fence and the lambs in a light gray.

Thanks for stopping by, now on to your next fantastic Easter Basket at Mintascreations...oh wait
how about some   BLOG CANDY!!!   Just leave me a comment, follow me if you like what you see, and make sure you leave a way for me to contact you:

Two packs of spring stickers and a set of Making Memories journaling tags!
Good Luck!!

Lucky Leprechaun St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop 3/17

Welcome to Nicolette's Lucky Leprechaun Blog Hop. If you just arrived from Krista's blog  then you are in the right spot. If you just came to my blog and want to start from the beginning start here: Nicolette   Also I have the complete line up at the bottom of this post in case you get lost.  So now on to my project!!

ALTERED SHAMROCK BANNER
"Luck O' The Irish"
I found these glittered (and plain) shamrocks at Hobby Lobby and thought they were the perfect size for a banner:

I puched holes in each one to run white ribbon through and then I wanted to try the rosette tutorial I had seen on a Youtube video (sorry forget where I saw the first one it may have been Capadia Designs) and wanted a paper that was white with a green print. I searched everywhere and couldn't find the right paper, so I just made it.  I took plain white paper and used a leaf stamp I had in my stash and just stamped all over the paper and then cut it. It turned out exactly like what I wanted:
The leprechaun was cut from Paper Doll Dress up.  With the help of my good friend Shari she was able to alter his arm to be raised by manipulating the image in Sure Cuts Alot. I then used the umbrella cut (same cart) cut off the umbrella to use just the handle as a cane and hung him with a brad to "the"

Isn't he so cute with a Peachy Keen face !?
I hope you enoyed looking at my project as much as I did making it.  A big THANK YOU to Nicolette for picking me to be in this hop!

Throwback Thursday Challenge

The challenge at Emma's creative time is to..
***Use either "Paper Doll Dress Up" OR "Everyday Paper Doll" cartridge for this challenge!
*** Project of your choice MUST include either heat or dry embossing***

I used the dragon from the PDDU cartridge and embossed him with the scales folders from the Animal Prints set by Cuttlebug. The heart is from the Sweethearts cartridge and stamped with a Peachy Keen face stamp. The fire the little dragon is breathing is from Indie Art. I stickled the ends in orange and red. The sentiment is punched from the EK Success large punch (sorry that's all it says).  I did a border punch on both the top and bottom of the white layer and then stamped the hearts in pink red and green to match the background print.

Thanks for looking!

This is my entry for the Cricut Card Challenge #42.
The challenge was to make a Halloween card using the card feature from any cartridge.
I used the card feature from Stretch Your Imagination to make the base in orange.
All the trick-or-treaters were cut from Paperdoll Dress-up. "Happy Halloween" stamp is from the $1 bin at Michael's.
Thanks for looking
