Welcome! I am C.M. Mayo, author of Meteor (Gival Press Poetry Award) as well as several books of literary fiction and nonfiction, the most recent of which are The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire, a novel based on the true story, and Metaphysical Odyssey into the Mexican Revolution: Francisco I. Madero and His Secret Book, Spiritist Manual, a chimera of a work of personal essay, biography, political and religious history, and translation, which won the National Indie Excellence Award for History. My memberships include the American Literary Translators Association, Biographers International, the Texas Institute of Letters, and Women Writing the West.
