:Looking at the Sky on Friday #110: Thanksgiving Sky

Click the image to enlarge

This was my shot on our Church Thanksgiving last 29th of previous month.  We were having fun at the biblical Pinoy Henyo games when I saw this beautiful view of the sky.  It was indeed awesome! It reminded me of the many things we should be thankful for the previous year's blessings.

I  really love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. God's creations are indeed beautiful. Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge below!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #103: Sunset at Prayer Garden

Click the image to enlarge

We dropped by our new camp site for our December camp meeting fellowship so our church mates will see the fellowship hall, dormitory and the grounds where we can put our tents.  As we walked down the prayer garden into the basement dormitory the caretaker has chosen for us I saw this scenic piece of God's creation and  was amazed at the different color shades of clouds. Sunset was slowly taking in and it was too beautiful to ignore.  I took plenty of shots and here's my first shot.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #102: White Sky at the Beach

Photobucket

We arrived at the beach early morning and the sun is still hiding.  Glad that it's not raining on that place that day because we passed through towns with rain showers.  Still the expanse of sky looked beautiful looking at the beauty of the sea below.  The kids were playing with the sands at the beach and we were preparing their breakfast and snacks.

I  really love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. God's creations are indeed beautiful. I'll feature more  of my sky shots at the beach next week..

Looking at the Sky on Friday#100: Tagaytay Sky

Click the image to enlarge

This is one of the breathtaking views of the sky over mountains, lake and beautiful nature at Tagaytay Picnic Grove.  I've chosen a spot where I can include part of the ruins of the old buildings we used to see several years back.   I just don't know why they leave it like that (the ruins I mean), is it part of their tourism campaign or they just didn't know that it's not beautiful to see abandoned ruins.  That spot used to house air conditioned family cottage houses and rooms for vacationing families and couples.  We used to hold our summer camp meeting there and it was very well kept then and beautiful.

The place still hold some magic to me and I can spend my whole day just gazing at the nature before me,  such wonderful creations of God that I'll never get tired of flashing my cam. I  really love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. God's creations are indeed beautiful.

:Looking at The Sky on Friday#98: Seaside Bay

Photobucket
Click the image to enlarge

This shot may look very dark but it's only after 5 in the afternoon here at the seaside bay at Mall of Asia.  I was trying to catch the sunset but my battery was losing its charge so I didn't get a clearer shot.  I was happy at my shot though a bit dark it's still magical to look.  I was seeing some college friends here and hubby accompanied me.  He's the one who told me to take a shot at the beautiful sight.  Wish I had an earlier and  closer shot. Hubby promised me we'll come back with the kids and I can have more beautiful shots.

I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me whether it's dark, cloudy, cloudless or  the sky is pale. God's creations are indeed beautiful.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at The Sky on Friday#97: Mall of Asia

Click the image to enlarge

This is a shot at the seaside Mall of Asia where the sun is beginning to set.  You can see a pale sky here with  scattered clouds in contrast with the grand look of the mall. It's about 5pm when  DH and I arrived and since it's our first time to go there we had  some pics taking before entering the big mall.  I have some hesitations in going to MOA because it's standing from a man-made land only and as such it's a weak structure and a danger to earthquake, just my opinion!  Well I like it because the stores are great and the restaurants are everywhere.  I like seeing wide variety of restaurants to choose from as I love trying out new restaurants.

We had some pizza and pasta at Sbarro and had a full dinner with college close friends at Aling Tonyang’s Restaurant at the seaside. It was pure enjoyment and memorable day with best college buddies.

I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me whether tit's cloudy, cloudless or  the sky is pale. God's creations are indeed beautiful.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at The Sky on Friday#96: Sky Between Buildings

Photobucket

Click the image to enlarge

This is a shot from my place in Elem. School Gym while I was waiting for my daughter's Press Conference.  The sky was so brilliant that day.  The blue sky was a perfect background for the silky soft cottony clouds making its beauty noticed between the trees and the new Dept. of Education building.  I love the clarity of the colors here from the trees, sky, clouds and the building, perfect for sky watching on limited space.

I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me whether it's on wide-spaced field or narrow space like this one. God's creations are indeed beautiful.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #95: Sky Over the Mountains

Photobucket

Click the image to enlarge

This is a shot of my SIL at the view from their village.  MIL's house  is overlooking  the famous mountains  of Montalban and it's a spectacular view when the sun shines on the mountain.  It's just a saddening thought that  mountains were never cared for because the trees are few.  It's nice to wake up in the morning with the mountains and sun greeting you.  The room windows of the house are located just right for the nice view.  The physical distance is actually a few meters away.

I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. It makes me very thankful of God's wonderful creations.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #94: Sky Over Mall of Asia

Photobucket

This is a shot at the sky over Mall of Asia where you can see the giant globe.  The clouds make a beautiful background for the giant globe which is the landmark of MOA.  I've included the second photo because the clouds are lovelier than the first.  It's actually my first time to go there or to actually go inside the premises of MOA because the first time was with my kids' educational tour in which we only rounded the place.

DH and I had a nice time there meeting up with my college friends after several years that we didn't see each other. Elena came from Canada and requested to see us before she and her family went back to Vancouver, Canada. I love sky watching wherever my cam takes me. It makes me very thankful of God's wonderful creations.  Visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #93: Mall Sunset

Photobucket

This is a shot from the mall's parking space last Tuesday when we dropped by to buy our little boy his own pick of toys for his 7th birthday.  We went to Twiddledee in Evet Ortigas and let Josh choose from among the toys there. We arrived at around 5pm and this view greeted us, glad I've brought my cam with me even if my battery is giving me low signals.  I love the small splashes of yellow orange on the grey clouds.

This is a shot from my daughter's school where the clouds are beginning to change from white to a little greyish indicating the beginning of rain.  When I saw this last May I hurried back home. Still the clouds and sky looks beautiful with a beautiful formation of layers of clouds.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #90 - Clouds Over Abandoned Building

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

This is a shot of the sky over the old abandoned building in Tagaytay's Picnic Grove. Well it's actually a wrecked building which was full of air conditioned rooms in the past. Maybe the management have future plans for it but seeing it there reminds me of good times in the past when DH and I were singles. We used to have summer camp meeting fellowship in this place with our family and brethren. All of the abandoned buildings were still small hotels then and many tourists and vacationing families are renting there to spend a day or two to relax and have a peaceful day in the scenic place. Many changes have happened in this area but whatever changes it may have now this place will always have sweet memories for me.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #89 - Clouds Over Nipa Huts

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

This is my shot of the sky in the villa resort where I focused my lens at the nipa huts there rented by vacationists and guests at the resort.  I just find it so pretty with leaves at the top and sides of the picture, makes a perfect background for the picture.  Take note also of the clouds at the 2nd pic!  I'm imagining shapes again with that shot!
It always makes me feel good to see scenic view of the sky.  God's wonderful creations are abundant. To visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #87

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

See the beautiful creations of God - the mountains, sky, clouds and lake. It was a rainy morning when I took the shot but still the scenery here is still beautiful despite the gloomy weather. You can see here the picturesque sight of the Philippines' Taal Volcano which may erupt anytime according to volcanologists last month just after we've been there on June 12. I'm still hoping it won't as there will be great damages with many settlers living near the place.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #86 - Low Clouds

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

Why my title is like that? Because when I go through my file of our time in the resort I noticed that the clouds here are almost down on the land. Of course this is just an illusion because the shots was near the lake just few meters away and the clouds there seems so low, really! I really love the place because I had the chance to have my beautiful sky shots around the place. This shot was among my several shots of the place, the pool and the sky above the villa resort by the lake.

Summer days are perfect days sky watching don't you think? God's wonderful creations are always a beauty to behold! To visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #85 - Before the Storm

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

This is a shot before the storm that hit Luzon recently. The sky is just beginning to show some darkness here but we didn't know that a big storm named Basyang was brewing up. No one was prepared for the big typhoon-storm because the announcement signal no. was not accurate. I was working online at past 11pm when the net passed off together with electricity. That's around the time also that I learned from twitter advisory that the level of typhoon increased. We came out of our house early morning to see our mango tree fallen together with other plants. We're thankful to God that He protected us from harm on that night.

Anyway it's still a good day for sky watching because we didn't know the storm then and God's wonderful creations are always a beauty to behold! To visit more beautiful sky photos just click on the badge above!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #83 - Sky at Picnic Grove

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

Sky watching is good at Picnic Grove and if you're like me who is so fond of taking sky shots this is a nice place for you. I actually had 3 dozens of shots which I stored in my photo files for my future posts lol! You can see here my shots in the left wing of Picnic Grove where thousands of meters were allotted for playing, picnic, kite flying and of course sky watching. This is just below the souvenir and dining area.

You'll notice that my shots were the upper and lower shots of the same area. I took a high level area where the sky and clouds are majestically looking down the mountains. While my picture with my kids and church mates were a shot below the mountain. Just point my cam up and down and I had my two shots!

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #82 - Overlooking Laguna Lake

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

The sky was so beautiful that this boy chooses to climb the wires to see the sky and lake more clearly without the obstruction of these wire walls not seeing me having a shot of him. He's my nephew and he's with us on my Mom's birthday at the resort. It was nearly 5pm and the sky and clouds were great at that time. The wires are the resort's boundary from Laguna Lake which is a beautiful site also.

:Looking at the Sky on Friday #81 - Sky at the Villa

Photobucket

Click the image to see larger view

Shots from Lake Villa Resort where I really had a great time with my favorite hobby of sky watching and of course shooting sky shots. I had tons of beautiful sky shots on that day and all I have to do is pick from my collection to post my entries. I'm prepared for the rainy season :-) We're blessed with a nice weather that day even if the whole of that week gave us rain showers. It did rain but on the night of my Mom's birthday celebration just as we were preparing to sleep.
