Illustrated by Gary Gianni, whose color illustrations for the UK edition are here in b&w. Introduction by Rusty Burke. Text restored from Howard’s manuscripts by Patrice Louinet, who provides notes and commentary; various drafts and synopses are also included.

        Reprint (Wandering Star 2001) collection, illustrated by Gary Gianni. This follows the trade paperback Del Rey first US edition, which reproduces the original color plates in b&w; it has ISBN 0-7394-5460-9, lacks a price, and has the SFBC number on the back jacket.
