French M1717

While on the subject of the French army of the 1720s these repro M1717s are pretty desirable. Be usable for the 45 I think.

Quad-barreled pistols

Steve Carter author of Fighting for Liberty and One King and the recent Science of Arms has been visiting the Musée de l'Armée Paris and he found these pistols -  he notes in his books that these were documented in use at the skirmish at Ashill by some of Monmouth's cavalry as well as double-barreled carbines.
