Following previous issues of the magazine, this one has 24-pages of full color custom work created by yours truly, and features all the “Nicknames of the 70’s” cards I posted up on the blog.

As an added bonus, each issue also comes with a “Yaz” postcard, sized to actual card size, so you can cut and drop into a top-loader if you prefer. That’s what I do and they look great!

Hope all is well.

I’m happy to announce that the next issue of “WTHBALLS”, issue #13, is now available, and it features my “Then & Now / Super Veterans” series!

Featuring 24 color-pages of all the greats who received a custom “Then & Now” card creation on my blog: Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Al Kaline, Frank Robinson, and many many more Hall of Famers and all-stars, the magazine also comes with a bonus Ernie Banks “Then & Now” custom postcard-sized insert. 

Just cut the card along the die lines included and drop into a top-loader, and it looks like you pulled it right out of a wax pack!

Happy to announce the availability of the 11th issue of “WTHBALLS”, the 1978 “Missing in Action” issue, featuring all the ’78’s I designed to this point of cards that “should have” been in that nice 1978 Topps set.

This issue features cards of stars like Dick Allen, Boog Powell, Willie Wilson, and Brooks Robinson, who gets the “career-capper” treatment, as well as the complimentary postcard that comes with each issue.

"WTHBALLS" ISSUE #9: 1976 PART II THE NATIONAL LEAGUE

I'm happy to announce the availability of the next issue of "WTHBALLS", issue #9: 1976 "Missing in Action" Part II The National league.
Following the last issue, (the American League), this picks up where I left off, with missing cards of players that I felt should have had a card in that awesome 1976 Topps set.
This issue features Hall of Famers like Bob Gibson and Juan Marichal, seasoned veterans like Ray Sadecki and Sonny Siebert, right on down to guys who had that "cup of coffee" in the big leagues, like Greg Terlecky and Ken Frailing.
The issue also comes with a full-color postcard of a variation of the Bob Gibson "Career-Capper", ready to be collected as-is or cut-out to add to your 1976 set!
As usual, this issue is a 24-page full-color comic-sized magazine and can be purchased for $5 each plus $2 postage.

The new issue of the "wthballs" magazine is now available to order!
This one is a "Part I" of the American League missing cards of 1976 since I created so many from my all-time favorite set, with "Part II" coming next of the National League cards.
This issue is the usual 24-page full-color 'zine with HOFers, veterans and brief big league players, and comes with a full color Frank Robinson player postcard as a bonus.

It's that time again!

The newest issue of "WTHALLS", the 1975 "Missing in Action" edition, is now available!
Once again we have a 24-page glossy full-color magazine show-casing the 1975 cards I've created thus far on the blog, including some "career cappers" for Al Kaline and Orlando Cepeda.
This issue also comes with an art card postcard of a second version of the Kaline capper, which sure does look nice when cut and slipped into a penny-sleeve, then into a rigid holder!

A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF THINGS TO COME...

Here's a nice shot of the first four "wthballs" custom postcards trimmed to size, given FREE with each of the next four issues of "wthballs" magazine.

The 1974 Willie Mays postcard is available now buy purchasing a copy of the "1974 Missing in Action" magazine (#6), with the other postcards available with each subsequent issue. These art-cards are issued as 4" x 6" postcards that can be cut to size if you like. Or keep them at full-size if you prefer!

1976 IS A BOUNTIFUL YEAR! "WTHBALLS" '76 M.I.A. ISSUE(S)

WOW!
I'm in the middle of laying out the 1976 "WTHBALLS" magazine (don't worry, you didn't miss out on the '74 or '75 issues, they're coming soon), but I created so many 1976 "missing" cards (thanks to the 1976-Project for "Reader Jim), that it will have to be split into TWO issues, Part I American League, and Part II National League.
Now THAT should be fun!

WTHBALLS ISSUE #3 IS HERE! "1971 MISSING IN ACTION"

Hey everyone, the newest issue of “wthballs” is here, #3 “1971 Missing In Action”, and it looks great!

There was an odd printer’s error when they produced the booklet, having a flap on the back because of some over-printed pages, but nevertheless the issue in it’s entirety is here to add to the growing magazine collection!

From former Indians slugger Tony Horton to future Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa, all the 1971 "missing" cards to date from the blog are in there.

Hello Everyone,

For those interested, the second issue of “wthballs” arrived, and it features all my “Missing in Action” 1970 cards to date from the blog.

Once again it comes in at 24-pages, full-color from cover to cover, and has players such as Don Drysdale, Bill White, Ken Boyer as well as the obscure guys like Van Kelly, Jim Mason and Steve Jones.

Already done laying out the next issue of the "whentoppshadballs" magazine (issue #2), and it'll be of all the 1970 "Missing in Action" cards I've designed so far.
The 'zine will have 24-pages, full-color, just like the previous "MIA-MIA" 1972 issue, with cards shown at actual size.
