Dal Lake is made from 5 underground springs, which are not visible now.It is famous for Durvasa Rishi's temple where he prayed to the Primordial Goddess to release him from the tremendous tortuous heat from his feet which was a result of his curses and hot temper.

  • Sorry, this no lake just dried, came here ten years ago some water was there,but when visited last year, no water. authorities be questioned.
