"Heavenly Father, Thank you for this day. Bless us for our family. Bless us for our food. Bless Kaden to get his orange belt in Karate tonight. Bless me at dance. In the name of Jesus Christ,Amen."

Leprechaun Fun

Today is St. Patricks DAy. Lenny the Leprechaun came to visit us today and left magic sparkle dust that gives you good luck. The magic dust was even in the green pudding the kids had. After Kaden (age 8) tried the dust he told me he could feel himself getting stronger. He flexed his muscles and then did a handstand. He stood up and said, "Whoa! I've never stood that long before! I think it's working!"
Then he went over to a plastic toy bin and flicked it with his finger and watched it fall down. he was so shocked he could knock it down. He knows it's from the leprechaun dust.

Im So Smart

Avery age 5

Avery got her kindergarten shots the other day and she was super brave.

Today she was writing her name on a piece of paper (the best I've ever seen her do it)

Mom: Avery, you are getting so good at writing your name! I can tell you are almost ready for kindergarten.

Avery: I know. It's because the shots I got for "kindogoten" made me super smart.

The mind of a 4 year old

Avery -- age 4

"mom... when you are little your boobs are just pimples... when you grow up, they are boobs"

(I have NEVER talked to her about this... Do I worry or do I laugh?) Maybe a little of both.

me: Come on Bright. It's time to go down for a nap.

Brighton: No mom.. I need to go and play with my rollercoaster.

Who Am I?

Avery (almost 5)
Avery came down in her princess dress while I was cleaning the house and said,

Avery: "Mom,Kaden says you are my mommy in the game we are playing, but you aren't"

Me: "Who am I then? I am the crazy monster?"

Avery: "No you are just the cleaning lady that cleans mine and Kaden's room. My room is the castle"

I've missed out on writing a whole years worth of cute stuff

If I'm going to do my 365 family blog.. maybe I can try to be better at updating the tidbits blog as well.

Mom: "Bright are you poopy?"
Bright: "No, I not poopy... Jeannie did it"

Brighton (age 3) I'm sitting at the computer and he is eating lunch.
Bright: Mom.. Mom.... MOM!!!!!
Me: What bud?
Bright: I sure do love these sgetti o's!

Bright (age 3) (I tooted) Bright says, "Mom, you need a diaper change? You need to go poo poo in the potty?"

Bright (age 3) Looking at something we are working on in the kitchen. "Wow! That's incredible!"
