Charitable giving platform Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute charitable giving platform
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute launches charity.kpi.ua — a charitable giving platform dedicated to the recovery of the university, support for students, advancement of research, and preservation of Ukraine’s largest technical university.
For many years, Kyiv Polytechnic has implemented charitable initiatives, supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine, restored damaged infrastructure, and delivered important social impact projects. Today, we are taking the next step by creating a single platform where everyone can contribute to the university's development and invest in its future.
Charity.kpi.ua marks a transition from occasional fundraising campaigns to a sustainable model of support. The platform brings together alumni, partners, businesses, students, and friends of Kyiv Polytechnic from Ukraine and around the world around a shared mission: to preserve and strengthen a university that educates the engineers, scientists, innovators, and leaders needed to rebuild the country.
Today, supporting Kyiv Polytechnic means more than helping to restore buildings. It is an investment in education, research, innovation, and the future of Ukraine.
We invite you to join our global community of supporters at https://charity.kpi.ua and become part of this important mission.

International college students have also returned, weighing the value of an affordable education against the risks of war.
Wang Zheng, 23, who is originally from China, had been studying in Ukraine since 2017 and was just starting working toward his master’s degree when the war began. He went back to China and continued his studies online, but returned to Kyiv last spring. His education “is the most important thing,” he said, adding, “I can’t give up.”
Kyiv is where he first met his girlfriend, Wang Danyang, 26, a trained opera singer who is also from China. She returned to Kyiv in July and they moved in together. They want to build their life here, Mr. Wang said.
“I feel like this is my second motherland,” he said.
