Erin Figueroa ,VP, Office of the CEO

Most recently, Erin Figueroa served as the Vice President of Global Operations at Slack, responsible for Program Management, Workplace Operations, Safety, and Security. Erin joined the company in 2015 to found, build, and ultimately scale the Operations function from the ground up – establishing processes that serve as the foundation for how Slack, as an organization, operates to this day.

Erin and her teams were responsible for planning and executing the company’s most strategic initiatives, in addition to overseeing operations across 18 global locations. She’s an expert in building high-functioning teams and scaling organizations to be more efficient and effective through hypergrowth.

A few of Erin’s most recent accomplishments include successfully taking Slack public with its direct listing in June 2019 (the first in enterprise software and the second of all time), leading Slack’s Covid-19 response team, and managing Slack’s re-entry into the workplace. Most recently, she focused on leading the integration of Slack into Salesforce, which is the second largest acquisition in Silicon Valley history.

Erin lives in the Bay Area with her wife and young kids. She’s proud to be a working mom and is a strong champion of healthy work/life balance and flexibility. As for hobbies, she’s happiest when she’s outside, preferably near the beach.
