Work In Progress
More additions, and I have to say that these are my 2 favorite looking units in my entire collection. The Forge World Ultramarine Venerable Dreadnought is a sweet model. Expensive as hell... I thought about buying 2 more Dreads for the price of this one, but I think it will be worth it when it is finished and on the table. I got 4 of the Scout Bike squad used, and bought the 5th and made him my Sergeant. I love the power fist on the bike, leading his unit. I still think I may switch out 1 bolter for another grenade launcher.

The Venerable is a great looking model. I decided to not put the large banner/standard on the model. I'm just not a fan of it on the Dread, similar to my Ironclad not having one. I used the other banner as an objective, and I think I may do the same with this one. Here it is so far, with a once over base-coat. I probably won't have time to try and sit down to finish him until at least next week.

New additions, nothing finished
I know why I can't seem to get anything new finished lately... I keep getting more projects started without finishing old ones! I did finish my Planetstrike bastions and defense lines in time for week 1, and I started basing and priming the GW blastscape and some craters that I used successfully in my last setup for period 1.
I also got in an order of magnets! 100 rare earth magnets for $16 shipped. These should last me for a while. I've already started getting to work magnetizing my new attack bikes that served me well in period 1 game 2 of Planetstrike, sneaking a win by charging through dangerous terrain to capture the second objective.
I also have a couple WIP pics of the scouts I have been working on here and there. Not finished yet, but more than just the base coat I have been applying to most everything else. I'd rather be playing with a plain blue army than plain gray plastic, or black primer!

Magnetizing
I've discovered the joys of magnetizing as part of modeling my army. Interchangeable wargear options are a godsend. So far I've magnetized a new Captain, and some of the models I just picked up for our upcoming Planetstrike Campaign: an Ironclad Dreadnought and a Land Speeder. I'm going to need to grab some more soon.
The magnets used are 1/8"x1/16" magnets purchased off EBay specifically marketed towards Warhammer players by the sellers. Unsure of the retail brand name.
