Does my data ever leave my computer?
No. Tablething runs entirely on your machine. Your connections, queries, and results stay local, with no telemetry and no analytics.
Do I need an account?
No. Download it and start connecting. There is no sign-up and no login.
Is it really free?
It is free during the beta. A one-time license unlocks it later, so buying now locks in the beta price and keeps lifetime updates.
Which databases can I connect to?
Over 30, including Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, Snowflake, and BigQuery, plus CSV, Parquet, Excel, and JSON files.
Do I need my own AI key?
Yes. Bring a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or Groq, or run a local model with Ollama. You choose the provider and model.
Can the AI see my data?
Only what you send it. AI features use your key and talk straight to the provider you pick, so nothing routes through us.
Can I connect through SSH?
Yes. You can tunnel to databases behind a bastion host over SSH.
