BEIRUT, May 17. /TASS/. Hezbollah fighters carried out 19 armed operations against Israeli forces in the past day in response to enemy ceasefire violations, the Shia movement said in a statement.

"Islamic resistance units carried out 19 operations against the occupation forces active in Lebanon," the statement reads. "In particular, drones attacked a command post in the city of Bayada and barracks in the settlement of Yaara," Hezbollah specified.

In addition, Hezbollah fighters ambushed an Israeli mechanized convoy in the Rashaf municipality. "Several mine blasts inflicted troop and equipment losses on enemy forces," the statement said.

Moreover, Hezbollah units also hit an Israeli Merkava tank and knocked out bulldozers demolishing homes in the Deir Seryan and Hadath municipalities.
