Why we built Tempkey
Contractor access is a recurring chore disguised as a one-time task. We built the tool we wanted for it.
Every small team we talked to had the same story: a contractor gets Slack, Drive, GitHub, and three other tools for a six-week project, and six months later someone finds out their access never actually ended.
The enterprise tools that solve this are built for IT departments managing thousands of employees, priced and shaped accordingly. Lean teams and agencies needed something sized for the actual problem: a handful of contractors, a handful of tools, and a hard end date.
Who's behind this
Yoni Ryabinski, founder
Tempkey is built by Yoni Ryabinski, a cloud architect who has spent two decades building and running large-scale systems, and who ships small, focused tools in public on the side. Contractor access kept coming up as the same recurring mess at every small team I talked to — hand someone a login, forget to take it back, find out months later. Tempkey is the tool I wanted for it.

What we optimize for
Bring your own credentials
No centralized identity provider required. Tempkey works with the admin tokens you already have.
Verify, don’t assume
A revoke isn’t “done” until Tempkey reads the provider back and confirms it.
Proof over promises
Every action is written to an append-only, exportable audit log — because “trust us” isn’t a compliance answer.
Built for lean teams
Flat, contractor-slot pricing instead of per-employee suites designed for a different scale of problem.
